Had a breakfast there. Amazing services. The pancakes, called Cretan Nest is an absolute banger. The cheese, while not complete melting, complements with the battery pancake and the savoury mushrooms and bacon. The egg and mayo on top sealed the deal for me. Every bite I took I just craved for more. Also ordered an cup Autumn Sonata (tea) there. The hidden hazelnut flavour blew me away. It cleared my palette for another fresh bite of the pancakes. Have not tried their bar and night food though it is safe to say that they are the best at breakfast in Santorini with no exaggeration, not to mention that the price was just the right amount with only 15 euros max for each person.
P.S. My friend ordered an omelette and was also a banger. They also have chess sets and board games to chill an entire morning. The entire set up and environment, which is being outdoors also made it a very sweet...
Read moreThis Café not only permits blatantly smoking inside its premises, but also encourages it, by providing ashtrays. I was late to realize the intended pun behind its name, “Magma.” The air ventilation was so poor, it felt stuffed inside there and had to leave earlier than intended, with my clothes stinking tobacco. Their hot coffees are not bad, but way overpriced for a non-specialty coffee place. Neither the ambience (sports bar/hookah place), nor the rent (no view of caldera, just a boring street corner), nor the coffee origin (illy) justify such high cost (4.50 EUR for a double shot cappuccino).
You can get a quality specialty brew in the street below Magma. Skip this place, unless you are a selfish smoker.
The male waiter was very friendly and polite. The only bright spot in this human...

We arrived at 10 am, and by the time we got waited it was almost lunch time.
We waited more than 1h30 for 3 pancakes and 1 omelet. The waitress told us there will be some delay because they were many guests, but we didn't expect more than one hour for such simple dishes. Finally we waited for nothing because we didnt eat the Oreo Pancakes as they were really sour and didn't match with Oreo sweet taste. Banoffee pancake and omelet were OK.
By the time we left, it was already noon and we went somewhere else to have a decent meal. It was a waste of time though we enjoyed the terrace...
