From the outside you cannot tell what delicious food awaits inside. A classic case of, you cannot judge a book by it's cover. Everything we ordered was delicious. We started with the tomato fritters because we had never had that and were curious. They were delicious. We also ordered the assortment of spreads which were tasty, but we found it a little strange that the eight peices of pita already had the spreads on them. We would have preferred the spreads (eggplant, tatziki, spicy feta, and fava) to have been served on a plate with a basket of pita to accompany. There really wasn't enough of the spreads the way it was served. The Santorinian salad was excellent. I had the grilled squid which was fresh and delicious. My daughter had the chicken gyro, one of the best so far. My son had the pasta carbonara which was also very good and the pesto pasta was also quite good. The fries tasted slightly different in a good way. It seems to be fried upon ordering and not mass cooked, like many other places that I have dined before.
The fried feta cheese was good, but I felt the cheese was a little too hard. The crust was definitely perfect though, with crisp exterior that disintegrates easily.
This family owned business is probably one of the best, if not the best, meals I've eaten in Santorini.
This family owned restaurant has to be on your list to dine in! Service was excellent too!
I'd return in a heartbeat.
*And i returned again before returning home. I brought some friends along so we could order more and share. We all agree the chicken gyro was the best, but the rest were definitely...
