Finikas Hotel — Hotel in Municipality of Thira

We stayed at Finikia Memories 2nd - 4th June 2016 and we had two rooms booked as we travelled with friends. The only reason i gave a 4 and not a 5 is that on the first night there was a problem with our room (previous guest and toilet paper issue!) and we had to go to a different hotel. Although this is not the fault of the hotel I understand it just made our stay a little less relaxing. |Finikia Memories is beautiful! The rooms are well designed and beautiful, the pool relaxing and clean (they provide towels) and the food is stunning! We ended up having dinner here both nights after a great first evening. Our waitress recommended fab dishes and all 4 of us where happy. |Reception staff were helpful and friendly, always chatting and checking on us. |Wish we spent both nights there of our last two days in Santorini! The hotel has a good location: near to the beach, but in a small, quiet street. The owner of the hotel is kind, smiley, helpful. He does not speak english so much, but tries. He also recommended us a restaurant at Perissa beach, and transferred us to the airport when we left Santorini. The rooms are cleaned every day and are well equiped (own bathroom, fridge, kettle, etc) For me there was one big problem, because I have high standards in this matter: the bed. Our double bad was small (in size and in height as well), the mattress was uncomfortable, there was only one big blanket, which I hate. Viaggiato con famiglia con formula appartamento; non vale la pena prendere anche la colazione perchè a qualche metro si può fare colazione in qualche bar fronte mare che offre anche il servizio spiaggia gratuito con la consumazione (tutti i locali di kamari offrono gratuitamente ombrellone e sdraio ai propri clienti).||il Finikas è in una posizione praticamente fronte mare (1 minuto e si è in spiaggia) ma al tempo stesso fuori dal chiasso della camminata lungo mare ( che praticamente finisce 10 metri prima del Finikas).||Struttura pulitissima con cambio di biancheria e asciugamani quotidiana (nel senso che cambiano le lenzuola tutti i giorni!) e molto ben curata.||Non è un aparthotel, grazie al cielo, e, se si è alloggiati sul davanti della struttura, dispone di terrazzi ampissimi dove mangiare.||Le unità sul retro non le ho viste per cui non so dire; ho potuto notare che il retro da su un campo e magari è più tranquillo, tuttavia la zona non da problemi di movida notturna.||L'appartamento ha il frigo, un lavabo e tutte le stoviglie; c'è solo un bollitore e non ci sono i fuochi.||Poco male perchè a Kamari nei ristoranti sul lungo mare una grigliata di pesce per due persone costa al massimo 30 euro ( ma molti locali la offrono a qualche euro in meno).||La proprietaria è gentilissima e, se le è possibile, non guarda agli orari di check in e check out conecedendo l'utilizzo dell'appartamento prima dell'orario previsto ed anche più a lungo di quello previsto nel giorno, appunto, del check out.||Prezzo in linea con gli altri; non c'è piscina ma il mare è a due passi e le piscine che ho visto nelle altre strutture sono piccolissime, solo per bellezza vista la vicinanza al mare.||Poi non è che si va fino a Santorini per stare in piscina!||Il wi-fi...
