Perigiali Tavern — Restaurant in Municipality of Thira

Just PERFECT. It was the first place we went to eat and we came back every time we could. We tried other places for sure, but here we found the best. Excellent and plenty food, low prices (10/15€ for person) and very genuine, kind and thoughtful service. They always give you a dessert or a final drink included, it's a little thing but I think it's a nice thought. In the lunch is also included the beach service with beach umbrellas and very comfortable sun lounges. Unfortunately I don't have a picture of Gyros, but try it!! I would have eaten it everyday 🙈 also pita, lamb, fried Feta, fish, potatoes... Very good 👌 Felt home! Thank you.

PERFETTO. È stato il primo posto dove siamo capitati casualmente, e siamo tornati ogni volta che potevamo. Abbiamo provato anche altri posti ovviamente, ma qui abbiamo trovato il meglio. Piatti buonissimi e abbondanti, prezzi bassi (10/15€ a testa) e un servizio davvero genuino, gentile e attento. C'è sempre anche un dolcino o un amaro incluso a fine pasto, un piccolo dettaglio ma a mio parere un bel pensiero. Anche qui, se pranzate avrete lettino e ombrelloni inclusi, tra l'altro molto comodi! Purtroppo non ho una foto anche del Gyros, ma provatelo! Mixed Culinary Experience with Great Service and Setting – Perigali, Kamari Beach

We recently dined at Perigali in Kamari Beach and left with mixed feelings. The setting is absolutely stunning – right on the beachfront with a relaxing, breezy vibe. The atmosphere was serene and beautifully set up, and the staff were warm, friendly, and attentive throughout our visit.

Unfortunately, the food was a rollercoaster. Some dishes really stood out – fresh, well-seasoned, and beautifully presented. However, others completely missed the mark. A few items tasted bland or were poorly cooked, which was disappointing given the setting and pricing. It felt inconsistent – like two different kitchens were operating at once. We also had the mussels and they were terrible, not fresh and had a weird odour.

Perigali definitely has potential, especially with its prime location and lovely staff, but the kitchen needs to step up its game for a more consistent dining experience. Worth a visit for the view and the ambiance, but manage your expectations when it comes to food.

unfortunately the service are bad because they use to have customers all the time. and this is what happens when you have customers, you become careless with other details or details that can make the difference. their luck is with the hostess guy who is more aggressive in advertising and bring people inside. for example that grilled octopus came only one tender and it should come with some fava beans aside. but they put some potatoes and thats it. the sea food plate, named menu 26 in their menu.. should come with a desert but they didn’t bring it till our days. they did the same with other guys who were waiting for desert.. the wine in their menu is 10 euro but on bill is 11 euro.. and things like that. and after all these.. the waiter ask me if i want to give % tip. i told him no.. and he start being rude in his language of course. somebody should tell that guy that the tip is optional and is rude tu ask me why i don’t...
