Heavens Edge — Hotel in Municipality of Thira

We stayed at Heaven’s Edge in Santorini as part of our honeymoon journey to Santorini and Milos, and although our plans were disrupted due to a flight cancellation, starting our trip here turned out to be a blessing in disguise.

From the moment we arrived, Despina (the manager ) went above and beyond to make our stay smooth and stress-free.

Even though we were only staying for one night, she treated us with the utmost care and attention.

Our transportation had fallen through last minute, but Despina quickly stepped in and arranged everything for us all within a few minutes of our arrival.

Her helpfulness, patience, and warm personality truly made a difference.

Despina not only helped us settle in, but she also made phone calls, gave us wonderful recommendations, helped book excursions and even secured a last-minute hotel booking nearby for the next day when our plans changed again.

The hotel itself was clean, peaceful, and beautifully located. We stayed in a suite with a plunge pool, which I chose to make sure my wife, who wears a hijab, had privacy and comfort – and it was perfect.

The view from the hotel, being in the highest area of Santorini, was breathtaking and gave us that magical sunset experience everyone dreams about. Breakfast was lovely, and the ambiance of the place was relaxing and romantic.

If there’s one thing I would emphasize, it’s the amazing support and kindness we received from Despina. She truly made our short stay feel special...

Best location in Santorini! I stayed here for 5 nights. The view was breathtaking and watching the sunset from the balcony every afternoon was an awesome experience. The rooms were modern and the plunge pool was a beautiful temperature. It is situated right in front of Skaros rock so you have a great view of the rock, the volcano and all of the stunning white buildings on the cliff of Imerovigli. (Immerovigli has some of the best restaurants, it is situated in the middle of the island so you are close to everything, and it has the least amount of tourists so you get uninterrupted views exactly like Oia but without the crowds) There is approximately 40 steps down to the reception which was a very short walk from where we were dropped off. The staff met us at the top to carry our bags down to the room.

I also notified them of my plan to propose to my partner while in Santorini and they were more than happy to help. They sent my partner WhatsApp messages to trick her into thinking they had something planned for us, so she didn’t get suspicious.(it couldn’t have gone better!!)

I highly recommend staying here if in Santorini!

We spent one awesome night in Santorini at the peaceful Heavens Edge Villas where stayed in a two bedroom villa. We enjoyed the stunning view both from the warm plunge pool and terrace. The villa was very cleans and beds were so comfortable with luxurious linens. The terrace was a great place to enjoy the breakfast that is delivered to the room.Like most cliffside villas in Imerovigli there are many steps down to reach your villa and the often uneven cobblestone path (you will definitely be on the path at some point during your stay) from Imerovigli to Fira, also with numerous steps, should be considered when choosing footwear. What made our stay extra special was the very helpful and friendly staff. So glad that Super Mario was able to carry our luggage down and up those many stairs. Our new friend, Despina, very graciously arranged our transport from airport/ to port, made dinner reservations for us at a wonderful restaurant with a perfect sunset view, and offered great suggestions on other dining options.
