Be very careful with the place. Certainly the Worst place to eat or have a drink as this is a complete tourist trap. Furthermore the gentleman who is the owner is extremely rude and racist. It was our first visit to Greece and we stopped there to eat at the recommendation of our photographer as it was close by. However we saw him attack another young lady (tourist) who was looking for her husband and child who went to use the restroom in the cafe and purchase something. Her husband and child had left but then she came in looking for them and the owner attacked her saying that it’s for customers only, she explained her husband and child was in there and he literally followed her out the cafe and continually yelled at her when she was simply explaining to him she couldn’t find her family. We watched the whole thing and were absolutely disgusted and couldn’t finish our meals. His behaviour was appalling as it seems he was greedy for money and even if someone needs to use the restroom that shouldn’t be a problem seeing how far away this cafe is from anything scenic. We certainly cannot recommend this place at all and we do hope that young lady reports the owner of this place as he was very racist towards her. Any restaurant whose owner aim is only money cannot be a good, as customer service has to be a priority. Do not waste your time to...
Read moreWe arrived in Santorini and an Uber driver recommended Confetti Dessert & Restaurant for breakfast and desserts. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing.
When we visited in the morning, we walked into the restaurant only to be told — quite rudely — that they could not take our order because they had “too many orders” already. Instead of a polite explanation or a warm welcome, we felt unwelcome and dismissed.
I understand that sometimes restaurants are short-staffed or the kitchen is busy, but that should never be the customer’s problem. If the restaurant cannot handle more guests, they should manage capacity properly or close temporarily, not leave visitors feeling disrespected.
This kind of response from the staff gives a very negative impression of the restaurant’s service. For future visitors: if you’re considering coming here for breakfast, be aware that during busy times you may not be served at all — and you might even be met with rudeness.
I truly hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves their customer service, as Santorini is full of wonderful places where guests are made to...
Read moreVery horrible service. The first time we visited, we actually enjoyed the brunch. The next day, my 6 year old daughter asked for well done fried eggs (she had eaten the exact meal the day before), we got burnt bacon with the eggs. Honestly, I was shocked that the waiter even brought the plate to us in that state. Of course my kid could not eat it and eating burnt food with its carcinogenic qualities is very unhealthy. Since there was no staff in sight, I told my kid to go to the counter to call someone, she found no one, then my husband went to check but came back fuming!. Apparently the manager said the bacon was not burnt, we asked for well done eggs so the bacon was also well done, the chef has been with them for 6years and this is how their bacon is cooked, by the way why did we not wait at our table rather than bring the food to the counter.Huh! In summary,we got into a shouting match with said manager and had to leave Confetti in disgust. In all our travels, we have never been treated in such a shabby manner and honestly never seen a manager in a service business fuel a situation rather...
