Rubbish!!!! Worst hotel I have stayed at throughout my travels.
Food is vile. Always a different twist to a traditional dish which so far has not been a good one. Couldn't even order a normal club sandwich. They don't understand How to Keep it simple.
They also promote a chef who in my opinion isn't so great. I think they should seek a chef of higher level who can produce multi cultural dishes.
Someone who doesn't try to be flamboyant and mess traditional dishes up.
Ordered calamari which was not cooked. Ordered two gyros which cost €40 Ordered a club sandwich which came on black small toast with their own twist which made it no longer a club sandwich. As it contained coated sesame seed souvlaki and some form of Greek crumbly cheese.
Every morning the breakfast was an awful concuction. For example a tomato pasta purée sauce with pesto on poached runny eggs isn't an ideal breakfast nor a great combination in my opinion. So we would opt for scrambled eggs and toast which in itself was just as awful as it had no seasoning and no taste. By the time our food was delivered to the room it was cold including the toast which isn't nice cold anyway.
They try to be healthy and different with the breakfast and it could be great as the concept is good but it is not executed well.
Do not rate the food at all!!
When you request something, be prepared to wait some time.
When ordering room service they are not consistent with the end product of a dish.
They do not come to collect dishes unless you call them to, even then when you call for them to collect the dishes they take a good while to come.
When booking taxis they are supposed to have a free taxi service however there is only two cars for this, so if these are booked you end up being fobbed off with a traditional taxi driver.
They seem to have no respect for the roads or tourists and have the ignorance that because they are Greek own the roads.
On several occasions we were left waiting around for 30 minutes + at a time for a taxi, when they had told us to walk up to the square as a taxi would be five minutes. We also were left at a restaurant around 40 minutes as there were no taxis to collect us. If you choose to stay here pre book your taxis.
I do not find it acceptable nor reliable coming from such a " supposed to be " reputable hotel to be placed in these situations.
The only reason I give this hotel even one star is due to one waiter who is very welcoming and charismatic called vangelis. A gentleman called Ilias and all of the cleaners who work here and work hard at what they do. They do a good job.
The hotel is not all that, definitely not what it's made out to be, and we won't be returning.
If you want the full package don't come here. If you just want the view then you'll be alright.
If you want good food then try anogi which is just up from the square. May not be as lavish looking but will be the tastiest food...

We have stayed in world class hotels worldwide, but this was the best experience we’ve ever had. Though I can’t remember the receptionists names (3 of them), they were terrific and catered to every need we had. From the receptionist, the the luggage handlers, to the bar/restaurant staff, everyone went above and beyond, which we greatly appreciated.||||The ladies at reception were warm, kind and always responded very promptly to any request needed. We were always greeted/recognized by our name, whether is was a phone call, WhatsApp Message or any in-person interaction. ||||We stayed in the ‘Grace Suite’ and there is no way to put into words the view we had. The room was exceptionally comfortable and the view was truly to die for. When we return to Santorini again, we will again stay in room 43. It had tremendous privacy, but was still very close to the main pool.||||To all the staff at Grace Hotel, Erika and I (Chris Slovacek) would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making our stay so special, all while celebrating our 11th wedding anniversary.||||The only ‘caveat’ we have and this is NOT the fault of the hotel, is that there is a lot of walking from where the transporation drops you off (Astra Square), both downhill and uphill, along with many stairs to get to Grace Hotel and your room. If you have any mobility impairments, this hotel (along with several others near it) would not be the place to stay. ||||We are healthy and do not mind walking and frankly, we enjoy it, but it is one thing to consider if staying here.
