Imera Vista Suites — Hotel in Municipality of Thira

I am finally getting around to writing this review…I stayed at Imera Vista in October 2022.

I can honestly say that staying at Imera Vista Suites has been one of my favorite travel experiences. It's a boutique hotel with only a few rooms. The bottom three rooms all have a balcony. I was on the lower level and my view from the balcony was breathtaking. I would lounge on the balcony as much as I could. My favorite times of the day to lounge out were sunrise, breakfast and sunset.

The rooms are clean, spacious, functional and well decorated. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in while on vacation. My friend who was there with me but had her own room, fell so in love with the mattress and pillows, she got the name of brands so she could purchase for her home back in NYC.

Breakfast comes with your stay. It’s delivered every morning and they will coordinate with you to determine the best time to deliver. The breakfast was delicious; I loved the fresh squeezed orange juice and the sweet and savory selection of pastries that came with the main selection. My favorite was the Greek omelet; however, I recommend trying every option––they are all good.

My favorite part about staying at Imera Vista was Despina. Despina is what makes Imera Vista so special. She is kind, compassionate, patient and attentive. She is always willing to help and goes over beyond to deliver spectacular service. No matter the time of the day you message Despina, she's sure to respond immediately. I cannot thank Despina enough for making our stay so special.

Overall, I 10,000% recommend staying at Imera Vista Suites!! I cannot wait until my next trip to Santorini because I already know when...

Our stay at Imera Vista was simply the best! Leading up to our arrival, Despina was incredibly helpful—always quick to answer questions over WhatsApp, assisting us with reservations and bookings for activities, and sharing her local knowledge to ensure every detail of our trip would be perfect. When we arrived, we were greeted with breathtaking views from our balcony and a spotless room that had everything we needed. Breakfast each morning was just the right amount of food, enjoyed in peace from our balcony with those unforgettable views. Throughout our stay, we often caught ourselves saying the same thing: “Our location is amazing!” Having never been to Santorini before, we explored the island and quickly realized what a true gem Imerovigli is. On top of all that, Despina shipped home to us a small but meaningful item that was lost during our taxi transfer, which was greatly appreciated! Despina, you are amazing—thank you...

An amazing week at Imera...... Despina was amazing, from the point of booking, to our point of departure. Nothing too much trouble, she was very informative about trips and activities available on the island. Recommended some lovely restaurants also. Room and Terrace were amazing with views out across the Caldera, we enjoyed breakfast which in the morning and the sunset from the terrace every evening. Jacuzzi was a nice add on, although only used a few times a nice option to have after a day of walking up hills and steps, of which there are plenty! Thank you Despina for all your help, not forgetting the shower cap, you went out of your way to get for me! We had a very memorable week with you at the suites, already recommended to family...
