Pink Sophia Maria — Restaurant in Municipality of Thira

The staff here are the true meaning of hospitality, here you will find nothing but smiles and a love for their job like no other. We visited the pink Sophia Maria multiple times on our stay for one huge reason.... their home made lemonade. What a refreshing and cooling concoction! We even tried to watch them make it so we could make our own when we returned home.

Along with one of the best beverages to have whilst on the island we also tried some of their home made Pancakes, I myself being stubborn in knowing what i wanted asked for the dark chocolate Pancakes but was requested to try their pistachio Pancakes instead and the server came out with a fresh batter he had made and insisted I tried it before he made my order and wow... so rich and indulgent. I immediately changed my order to these because they were so good.

We didn't get any pictures because our food just looked too delicious. The fluffiest Pancakes I'd had the pleasure of eating as well as the lemonade and service, it was something I would have regretted to miss out on. It shows true commitment when entering an establishment for the staff to be this perfect. I would happily visit again daily for when we next come to the island....

We arrived to Santorini tired and across the street from our Olive Tree House Airbnb was Pink Sophia Maria. A PERFECT place for take away dinner after travel day and not wanting to dine out - so good we got takeout 2 nights later after our long hike from Fira to Oia. The staff there are incredibly friendly and the food was OUTSTANDING. They take their work seriously because they also asked if when reheating we would be using a microwave and the chef pleaded that we let him heat it up. We got moussaka and tomato pasta with beef. Second night we got 2 beef kebabs and 3 Greek salads with a side of dolma for 4 people. Portions are very generous, very reasonably priced, and we had plenty of salad leftover for next day. I hiked from Oia to Fira and back and stopped at Pink Sophia Maria both ways. This place is incredible! The staff are friendly and wonderful, and the food is delicious!

On the way to Fira, we had a spinach pie and their lemonade. The spinach pie was fantastic, and honestly - they're not lying when they say they have the best lemonade in town. It was perfect. In fact, it was so good, we stopped there again on our way back to Oia just to try something else. We tried their Tahini Pistachio Cereal Bar, and now, it's the only Cereal Bar I ever want to eat.

The chef there is very talented. All the food is crafted by him. He's been in the culinary industry for roughly 12 years, and he's truly refined his craft. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor...
