My stay at this place was simply wonderful.
First and foremost, I want to thank the staff, who made us feel not like we were in a hotel, but at home! We were upgraded to a higher-standard room, but I also had a chance to peek into the other rooms, and all of them are very well-equipped. Our room was on the first floor, which meant we had to go downstairs to access the pool, but since it was late October, we didn’t use it that much. The room had a balcony with a view of the pool and trees, which I really loved.
Our room was essentially a small apartment with two bedrooms, a kitchenette (equipped with a fridge, toaster, dishes, kettle, cutlery, and a wine opener), and a bathroom. It was a fantastic setup for me as I was traveling with a baby and a teenage daughter. For my baby, we were provided with a crib, and there was a high chair available in the breakfast area.
Breakfasts were delicious, served buffet-style, but the kitchen staff always made special French toast just for us. The area around the pool is also very comfortable, with large beds perfect for relaxing and sunbathing. There are even some rooms that open directly onto the pool if that’s what you’re looking for, but I think the upper-floor rooms are better if you’re seeking more peace and quiet.
The location is excellent, close to scenic viewpoints and the main tourist areas, yet slightly off the beaten path, which provides more tranquility. It’s also conveniently near a shop, pharmacy, and bus station.
I highly recommend this place...
Read moreStayed here for 4 nights ( long enough in Santorini) in executive room. The hotel arranged a taxi from the airport for €30 which was there waiting for us,approx 20 mins drive. Although hotel not in scenic position it is well located for everything minutes walk to Caldera views, super market, square and bus station |Rooms are a tad tired but spotless clean, with fridge, iron, kettle and coffee machine. We had a view of sea in the distance on the non Caldera side.|Small pool and sun area was nice to relax and cool off . Breakfasts were lovely wth great choice and we got given a little treat every morning. All the staff were so helpful and once again arranged transport to the port for €30 when we left |We got a bus to Oia from the bus station one evening €2 each way, runs every half hour until 23:20. What l would say about the buses is get there a good 15 mins before departure time as they fill up quickly and seem to leave when full. This put us off getting a bus to the port which you can do for €2.|Thia Caldera views restaurants and bars expensive €7 to €9 for a beer €18 for a Greek salad. However near square lots of taverns and street food which is much more reasonable. Oia is even more expensive, although all the food we had was delicious. |We also got the bus to the Black beach €10 to €20 for sunbed set.|We really enjoyed our time in Santorini, however 4 days was plenty as...
Read moreThis hotel is just on the outskirts of Thira town with a short walk to the centre. It's on the top of the hill so it's very close to walk along the caledra to see amazing views. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. As our ferry from mykonos was cancelled without notice we lost a night in Santorini and were so greatful when we weren't charged for the first night as it wasn't our fault! So thank you very much. We stayed in a sea view room, it's very modern and spacious. We loved the twin sinks and shower was amazing. The sea is far away but the view is still nice. Airport transfers are £15, I would recommend organising one from the port prior to your stay as it's cheaper than a taxi. My only annoyance was that there were mugs but no kettle in the room.. I missed my cups of green tea! Thanks for...
