So, first and foremost I need to make this clear. The hotel itself is not and I repeat is not bad at all; if anything the staff is really nice and helpful. The rooms where clean and they provided certain amenities. The hotel seems to be run by the sweetest older couple, who are really wonderful, helpful and truly do want you to enjoy Santorini. The cleaning lady who cleaned our room decorated the towels in the cutest ways. The AC unit was amazing and we had a cute balcony, which we used. They provided free coffee or tea. Every morning, we would sit out on the balcony before we started our day to have a cup of coffee.
The reason I am giving them three stars is due to minor things, that honestly can be fixed, but somehow aren’t being attended to. The pool, is small, but well maintained and clean. Unfortunately, out of the five sun chairs they have only two that work. The other three are completely broken. So, if you want to sunbathe, and the two that aren’t broken are occupied; the only thing you’re left with is plastic chairs.
They offer WiFi, unfortunately, it is extremely slow and the only time if seems to be working is from 6am-8am, due to everyone more than likely resting.
There are no irons or ironing boards in any of the rooms. So you have to continuously asked the receptionist for theirs and there seems to be only 2 irons in a hotel that has 17 rooms.
Each unit is a different size and offers different things, but the one thing that seems to be common in the rooms is the smallest and I mean the smallest showers. You make an unintentional mess showering.
Our room offered a fridge, which was great and was cold; they offered two glasses which was fine. There isn’t an ice tray in the fridge; which made it difficult to have a drink without ice. We had boiling pot for tea or coffee but no coffee cups.
Bear in mind, the hotel is in a residential area, and right next to our room were two miniature pinchers that resided next door. Who were forever barking. It wasn’t all night, but only when they were let out; average barking period 45 mins.
I am pretty certain this hotel could do absolutely amazing if they paid attention to the smallest of details. It really is in great area of Santorini. Close to the center. The staff is great. They really just need to make minor arrangements like, irons and ironing boards in each of the rooms. Coffee and tea cups. Maybe provide ice trays. Fix the sun chairs. Provided, pool towels in the pool area. And have better WiFi. These minor things could really make for a better experience. I truly do want to see this hotel succeed; I hope they take some of these...
Read moreI LOVED THIS PLACE! Stayed with friends and the hosts were so kind and lovely and helpful always so happy. The rooms were cleaned daily and fresh towels. We were so delighted with the place and the location was fantastic. Only a 20€ cab from airport and very close to the old port too. Loads of options for eating and shopping all within walking distance. Right around the corner from the bus stop to take you to all the beaches and Oia for roughly 2€. The bathrooms were good and one was small but that was not a worry at all - all of our showers had hot water and we’re clean, be sure to put your shower curtain on the inside as not to drip water on the floor. Had a mini fridge too and aircon! Would 100% stay again,...
