A True Hidden Gem in Paros – Hotel Helliniko is Pure Magic! Staying at Hotel Helliniko was one of the highlights of my entire trip to Greece. From the moment we arrived, the experience was nothing short of amazing — and it all began with the incredible hosts. They are some of the kindest, most welcoming people I’ve ever met. From the first greeting, they made us feel like old friends — warm, genuine, and truly invested in making our stay unforgettable.
What sets them apart is how much they care. They didn’t just give us a map and send us on our way — they guided us through the best of Paros, recommending hidden gems, helping us navigate the island, and sharing tips only locals would know. Thanks to them, we explored places we would’ve never found on our own. It felt like having a personal guide and friend all in one.
The hotel itself is just as wonderful — absolutely beautiful, peaceful, and so thoughtfully designed. It truly feels like a home away from home. The rooms are spacious, sparkling clean, and full of natural light and fresh air. There's a specific cleaning schedule, so everything stays spotless without ever being intrusive. The open spaces around the hotel create a calm, breezy atmosphere that made relaxing so easy.
Location-wise, it couldn’t be better. You're just a short walk from the port, the main town, and the bus station if you want to explore other parts of the island. Everything is within easy reach, yet the hotel feels like a peaceful little oasis.
I’m already dreaming of coming back — and I’ll be recommending Hotel Helliniko to every single friend planning a trip to Paros. This place is not just a hotel — it’s a heartfelt experience. Thank you for making our stay so special. We’ll...
Read moreLovely hotel! ||Firstly, we were greeted on arrival with a glass of water. Considering we are from a colder climate this was definitely appreciated. ||Hotel area: |The courtyard is gorgeous and filled my instagram story especially with the gorgeous garden which is given a lot of love and care. ||Apartment: |We stayed in a studio apartment with a balcony looking onto white buildings with blue doors and windows, trees of fruit & beautiful flowers. The room was a twin but spacious with lockers, a wardrobe, vanity unit and bench. There was a kitchen area with sink and fridge (drinks were ice cold). Power in the shower was strong but could also change it to lighter. ||People who work in the hotel: |We received such a warm welcome (with fresh cold drinking water). We were told about ways to commute around the island, different restaurants, etc. He also told us to come back if we needed anything else, which we did which was so helpful. We were brought to our room and given a quick run through of how everything worked. |My presumption is this is a family run hotel and I honestly can say we were made to feel so at home. ||Location: |The hotel is a 2 min walk to a beach and there’s another beach (with beach bars) 4/5 min walk away. |The port is a 7 min walk away. |There are restaurants and shops all over the place, one after the other. The first restaurant/cafe is a 1 min walk away. |There is a gym on the same street as the hotel.|Location is brilliant.||Thank you so much for a wonderful...
Read moreHotel Helliniko offered a very comfortable, convenient, and enjoyable hotel experience in Parikia, Paros! This was my first ever visit to Paros (as a solo traveller nonetheless) and was extremely happy with everything from the rooms to the excellent hospitality. The owner, Manos, was extremely kind and helpful from check-in all the way through check-out. I even got a complimentary upgrade to a room with balcony access! ||Every time I left or came back for the day, Manos greeted me with a smile and chatted with me about my daily activities. He also gave me amazing recommendations for restaurants, beaches, etc--which I appreciated very much as a solo traveler figuring out what to do around the island. You will always have a friend in Manos and Hotel Hellinko, and I cannot wait to return.||Also, a note to heat sensitive travelers: it is customary that in Greece the air conditioning only works when the key is lodged in the key fob inside the room. Thus, do not expect the AC to be running while you are outside. I found the easiest way to keep the room cool was to leave the bathroom window open, crack the glass door, and close the curtains to maintain air flow and also keep the strong sun out of the room. ||5-stars all around for Manos and his beautiul hotel, you will not regret...
