Rubini rooms — Hotel in Paros Municipality

Very good price, and rooms that generally correspond to that price. Location was good, you can easily in 15 minutes walk to the centre of Paroikia and the beach is just 2 minutes away. Service was good, and the people there were helpful. There were some important issues though. No sound proofing in the rooms, you can hear everyone in the balcony and the garden right outside your room. The installations in the bathroom are pretty old, the flush in the toilet takes forever to finish and one of the walls in the bathroom doesn’t go all the way to the ceiling. Judging from how loud you could hear everything, it feels like my bathroom was sharing that “half wall” with next-door room’s bathroom which is super weird and if true,...

We (couple) have been coming to the Cycladic Islands since 1969 (Yes, we are now old). We have been staying at Rubini Rooms for the last 20 years, most recently in June, 2013. There has been a transition in ownership in the past year or so, and the new owners are just as helpful and friendly as the former ones (the daughter speaks English perfectly). The rooms are set away from the street, which makes for a quiet stay, and the closest beach is about 100 meters away. All rooms are air-conditioned and have a fridge (way different from years ago).
