Marios is a very basic lodging but it's in the center of town and the perfect place to stay for early morning shuttle pick ups. Also, everyone knows Marios. The room are clean, with soaps and really nice fresh towels. They also have a small restaurant open until about 6p. The staff couldn't be nicer and more helpful.||The night we stayed there was a big rainstorm, the power in Pana was out in the whole city from about 4p-8.30p. Read moreI have stayed in Guatemala many times. I have stayed in about 7 or 8 different places in pana.. this was by far the cheapest but also one of the best. They did not have a room for me at my normal hotel on Thursday night, and I lucked into this place. Although they did have a room on Friday and Saturday at my other place I decided to stay here for ess than 1/3 of the cost.. I was happy with my decision. The people could not be better , the location could not be better ..a lovely room for very little money. I can not recommend it more. Will be a hard decision next time but will probably stay here again especially this time of the year where the pool at other hotel is of no...

It was a great find. The room was clean, spacious, quiet - you'd never know if was on Pana's main street. At 135Q, I found it a great value. The staff was friendly and quick to open the front gate, which was always locked. My only problem (and it was not a big deal) was that the wi-fi signal was very weak & unusable. If I was in Pana again & needed a room, I'd definitely go...
