The blue moon hostel was an unexpected Jem in Antigua. We initially booked with him the volcano 4x4 trip to the volcano and stayed in the hostel as there were no available slots for the days we arrived at Antigua. We spent the night before and after the volcano trip there in a private room which was clean and comfortable. The service there is top quality, from the breakfast which was lovely, to the travel agency - activities and shuttle all around Guatemala to anything requested. Idan, who speaks Spanish, English and Hebrew is always attentive and willing to help, and gives good advice and tips to travel around Guatemala. All of those for reasonable prices! Can't say anything but do yourselves a favor and stay there in Antigua.

A quiet hostel, not a party vibe which is great for some. Conveniently located. Drawbacks include the shower didn’t drain so you have gross water up to your ankles, and the one upstairs bathroom frequently ran out of toilet paper. Also no kitchen for guests so you have to go out for food, can’t make any food here if you’re on a budget. Also, get a front room, there is a good view. Back room view is a bit meh 🤣

I’ve done a lot of trips to Antigua and this one super great!

I stayed at the blue moon hostel which located in a prime location… the hostel is within few minutes walk from the plaza and the market, I never needed to take transportation to no where 🍀

For me the most important is the experience and the company in hostel which was absolutely amazing! The owners are super friendly and they took really good care of me and we became really good friends ❤️

The place always had been clean, the rooms are big and comfortable, and nothing was missing 🙂

If you are still trying to figure out where to in Antigua do yourself a favor and book a room in blue moon hostel!🌙

The best decision that you will make! 100%...
