Getting a tattoo is always a personal experience, but this one meant more to me than I can put into words—and I’m so grateful I found this shop and to bring it to life. From the very first conversation, he truly listened to what I wanted and made me feel extremely comfortable. He didn’t rush me or give me a hard time.The artist didn’t just hear what I wanted—he understood why it mattered.

This wasn’t just ink on skin. It was a memory, a tribute, a piece of my heart. Although my pieces were small I had 2 pieces done one was my grandmothers name ( who raised me along with my mother) who recently was diagnosed with cancer I honestly cried from all the emotion I was feeling and told him how much it meant to me. Once he was done and I told him about my grandmother he gave me a hug. I walked in with a story and walked out with something beautiful that will stay with me forever. I can’t put into words how meaningful this tattoo experience was for me. Fran worked on a deeply personal project — “I love you” tattooed in five different places on my body, each one in the handwriting of a family member, some of whom are no longer with us.

From start to finish, they treated my story with so much care, patience, and respect. The precision, attention to detail, and emotional understanding turned what could have been just ink into something truly priceless.

Every line feels like a piece of my loved ones is with me forever. I’ll carry these “I love you’s” for the rest of my life, and I’m endlessly grateful for the love, artistry, and compassion that went into them.

Would give 100 stars if I could! My boyfriend and I were just in town for the day and wandered past Francisco’s shop. We ended up spending the afternoon there each getting a tattoo and getting to know Francisco, who was incredibly friendly and spoke great English. Francisco was very patient and open minded to our ideas, and happy to workshop with us since we didn’t have a concrete idea of what we wanted. We both left with great pieces that we are super happy with, and healed great. The shop was tidy and the entire experience was enjoyable, a great little taste of Antigua for us to remember....
