The owner had pick up transportation from Guatemala City to their hotel for a small fee. Other ride shares were available but unless you know where you are going, one does not know if you will get hijacked in the process. Taxi's have been known to be sketchy too.. Once in Antiqua, we settled into Casa Linda and they were very attentative. Decent location and the Casa employees were ALWAYS available for advice, directions and recommendations. Rooms were nice and clean. Some had one or two beds and there was a patio area on the ground level and one or two rooms on the upper level overlooking the garden patio. The room we had was closer to the outside street and early in the morning it had some traffic noise. I din't mind but my wife was a light sleeper. We also stayed there on out way nack from Lake Antitlan and again, the Casa Linda took us back to Guatemala City when we needed to go. I felt very safe there in Antiqua and at Lake Antitlan and having that extra reliability was a big plus for me. Guatemala City can be very dangerous, especially if you don't know where you are and how to get around. Casa Linda is not your standard US Hotel type, it is a rental property with rooms for travelers. There have large Hotels there in Antiqua as well but this place suited our needs very well. As in any Central or South American country, one needs to be travel savvy and very aware of their surroundings, My wife and I had ZERO problems, none at all at Casa Linda and...

The meal costs 30 quetzales which is the correct price, and one of the few restaurants in Antigua which is...
