This place was recommended by several friends to me so as a group we decided to go check it out. We went many times to this restaurant. Clearly it was good but this is going to be a long review about it's awesomeness.
Pros: The place has a great atmosphere, and it is a beautiful venue. The decor was one of my favorite things about this place. I personally recommend going in the evening on the top floor with the open terrace. There you can enjoy watching the stars twinkle above you and the atmosphere is more relaxed than the day time. As for the food, both sweet crepes and main dish crepes are delicious. They are a large portioned meal which can be split in two. We enjoyed getting a main dish crepe and a sweet crepe therefore enjoying both flavors. The icecream options are also fantastic. Those as well are a large portion and can be split with 2-3 people. My go to drink when we went to Luna De Miel was Cafe con Leche which was iced coffee with condensed milk. 10/10 in my book of favorite drinks.
Con: The only thing I did not like was the restroom upstairs. It's a unisex restroom and it wasn't clean when I and friends went in it on different occasions. The place is so active and busy all the time that there is a lack of maintenance with the restroom. The main floor restroom I did not use so I cannot give a review on it. Keep in mind I went in Mid January so the conditions might...
Read moreLuna De miel, is probably the worst customer service expirience I've had. I ordered a salted crepe with cheese and extra ham. Usually the plate brings an egg inside or on top, i cant eat eggs and i asked for them to be removed (reason the manager gave for why the crepe was dry as dirt) When the crepe arrived it tasted more like a wheat tortilla with a load of ham and maybe a little bit of melted cheese here and there. It tasted extremely dry and when i asked if they had any sauces they simply said all they could give me was hot sauce (which i cant have). I asked the nice waiter if she could switch my crepe to a sweet one and her response was let me speak to the manager. The manager after sometime arrives to the tableto explain to me that he can only give me a side of a mix of tomatoes. I explained that the taste was very dry and that i was dissatisfied. He said he wouldn't switch it for something sweet nor refund me. He went on to explain that there was nothing wrong with the crepe and between very rude facial expressions kept explaining that they really arent interested in the opinions of customers. Horrible expirience! Save yourself some time and go to SAUL. This general manager is completely unprofessional and i advice the managers to go and find someone...
Read moreThis was the first place my partner and I ate at after checking into our accommodation. We aren’t necessarily crêpe people, however we were pleasantly surprised by this place. First entering the restaurant, we appreciated the various seating options. Although it is small, there was a super cute rooftop seating area and we chose to sit there. The waiter we very helpful and attentive. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. The menu was vast but not overwhelming. There was the perfect blend of sweet v. savory crepes, smoothies, lemonades, and brunch options. Overall we were impressed. We ordered the Luna Energia and a Strawberry Lemonade. We were very very impressed by the Luna Energia, yet we wished there was a tad bit more ginger in the mix. We got the Luna Pepian and Luna Atrevida crêpes and I never thought a curry crêpe would be so good. Both crepes were flavorful and portion sizes were large. After this meal we were truly fat and happy, ready to take on the rest of what Antigua had to offer. This meal was a great start to a...
