La casa de María Tuch — Hotel in Sololá

My girlfriend and I stayed with Maria for 2 weeks and I can say it was one of my favorite places I've stayed after traveling for almost 2 years. She and her family are incredibly welcoming and they made our stay feel like we were at home. We learned a lot about the local culture, food and way of life chatting with Maria and Luis. It was a great opportunity to practice Spanish as well, as Maria is a Spanish teacher and was always patient and encouraging. She and Luis were always willing to give us tips for activities around the Lake and help us find transportation to the other towns and Guatemala City. The room is super clean and its on a separate floor from the rest of the house so you have some privacy when you want it. Would definitely recommend...

I highly recommend staying with María! She had amazing recommendations for travel agency (did Indian nose hike and shuttle to Antigua with them) as well as coffee plantation tour! She and her family are super friendly and helpful, going out of their way to help me numerous times! Her place is super nice and clean and I will definitely be staying with her next time I come...

No sé por donde empezar. Mi novio y yo nos quedamos con María y su familia por 2 semanas y fue increible. Desde el primer día María ya nos estaba ayudando para poder llegar del aeropuerto a San Pedro y su ayuda nunca paro. A pesar de que trabaja y tiene varias cosas que hacer siempre se dió el tiempo de ayudarnos y también de preguntarnos cómo estabamos y si la estabamos pasando bien. Quedarnos con María fue más que sólo quedarnos en un hotel, María nos hizo sentir en casa. El lago es hermoso e hicimos muchas cosas pero sinceramente una cosa que nunca voy a olvidar será la convivencia con María y su familia. Además de la atención el lugar está muy bien ubicado, la casa es muy linda y la habitación es perfecta. María también es maestra de Español por lo tanto te puede ayudar con tu español.
