Extremely unprofessional business. Instead of spending money on good resources like fast Wi-Fi, training staff, and being kind to guests, they lie about customer requests saying the customer"demanded" something that no one in their right mind staying on a 3rd floor walk-up would "demand" for a single night's stay. They are leaching off of the AirBnB system, instead of paying for proper advertising. They limit the internet speed for each guest and proposition you, saying, "Internet connection, just like any other utilities on the island is very expensive. We only have 10mbits to share among all the rooms. Wifi is usually capped at 1 mbits/sec to be fairly shared among all the guests. 1mbits is usually enough to stream adaptive videos. I would be glad to up it up to 3 mbits if you are planning to stay longer with us. "Pasq" They are extremely unprofessional and instead of apologizing they rationalize. Very sad that "P" doesn't seem to understand that a customer asking if they have any ethernet connection is NOT a demand, but a question. The owner might understand that if he/she took the time to talk with their staff. The bathroom reeked of mildew and I politely informed "P" that he should probably inspect the cleaning, and let him know the signal for the WiFi was causing all video to buffer or not load. Instead of listening to the kindly meant suggestions and putting himself on listen setting, he spewed out a nasty message on AirBnB. I feel a lot of compassion for business owners in the islands, I'm certain a lot of supply chain issues make it difficult, but I have no compassion for someone who overreacts when you help them by identifying issues that may make customers leave, or reconsider staying at all. I had mixed feelings after my stay, but the location is great A-, and I would give them a B overall on cleanliness. Wi-Fi is a clear F. Professional behavior by the owner who may not have understood my concerns or what the staff informef him/her of prior to the owner flying off the handle...

It was equipped with a small refrigerator, super A/C, cable TV, excellent WiFi, hot water, and a sturdy double bed. Outside on the external hallway, there is a small table and chairs patio set, and 2 chairs for relaxing.|The cable service was quite extensive including a few English language channels. The quality of the signal was rarely good however. The Wifi was solid and I was able to do video calls via WhatsApp almost every day. |There is a microwave in the office which you can use whenever someone is present.|The shower unit was nicely sized and though the hot water was slow to arrive, it was ample when it got there. The bathroom also had two fluffy towels which seemed new. The bed was ok with a firm mattress though the quality of the linen was mediocre. The room was serviced, I think, only once during my stay but the office staff are there all day should you require anything urgently|I used the patio set for taking small meals and the large plastic chairs for reading. If you are on the south side, it does get very hot on a sunny day. There is lots of space to drag a chair into the room though. The A/C unit cools the room quickly.|Though located right on the main road, I was not overly disturbed by traffic noise. |The location is quite superb. It is only a 6-8 minute walk to the beach. Bring a flashlight though as the street are not well illuminated. |Next door is the Petrosun service station which has an excellent coffee bar, a pizza place, a sub sandwich shop, plus all the groceries and drinks you might require. There is a Chinese restaurant on the ground floor which does enormous meal servings. |My main issue was the poor lighting at night on the external hallway. This compounded by an absence of staff during the night, might put some travellers off. |I would definitely consider them for a...
Read moreIf you want cheap you will get it here, Room service is every day, which isn't a bad thing but they move and touch your stuff, they loved organizing my stuff I left on the nightstand next to the bed, I lost a 128GB micro SD card due to this which I wasn't happy about. They move your suitcases if they are not up against the wall also they will also stack your dirty close on your suitcase if those are also on the floor.
They should NOT touch anything in the room, come in do what you can DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING of the customers period!
For those with issues climbing stairs, there are a few flights of stairs to the 3rd floor, there is no elevator and those stairs get a bit much after a day or two.
Rooms do have AC but doesn't do much of any good at all, they shut off the AC when you leave, so the room is just as hot as outside when you come back, the exterior walls are made of concrete so it radiates that heat pretty well into the room, extremely uncomfortable, takes hours to even get the room to something comfortable to deal with.
If you want sleep do not book here, the house behind the hotel has 2 dogs that bark at the drop of a leaf, 1am, 2, 3... constantly barking, the insulation for sound in this hotel is not up to par the walls are paper thin and the door seal is non existent, I feel like I knew the couple in the room next to mine a bit too well.
My honest opinion, spend a few bucks more for a better location closer to the action down in west end, the walk from here isn't worth the hassle you get here and you can get a lot better...
