First of all, i have read some comments on here which slate the place and give it 1 star etc because the people were kept waiting. honestly, if me and my girlfriend had to wait around, we would have went for a beer and chilled. we didn't, cos i phoned them when i got on the airport bus and texted when we were half an hour away. i don't see a small wait as such a big problem - people are only human after all. there rarely seems to be anyone at the desk, so obviously they have several apartments to staff which is why you need to stay in contact with them over phone. when we needed a hairdryer, there was nobody at the desk but we phoned them and they dropped us over one.||||The apartment itsself (double bed kitchenette right opposite the desk) was clean and cosy, with a large double bed, a small shelf and lamp at either side, a small table with 2 chairs, s small wardrobe, a cupboard, fridge, kettle, microwave, sink, and plates, bowls etc etc. perfect for someone who wants a cold drink from the fridge or a cup of coffee - won't cook you a 3 course meal but able to have a breakfast every morning before eating out later in the evening, though i think some of the bigger apartments have slightly better facilities. there is a flat screen TV but good luck unless you're hungarian as everything is local tv and all movies are dubbed. badly. WIFI worked perfectly, was able to d/l a movie at one point. Off to the side was a nice little bathroom. shower was nice and powerful but you had to hold the head of it there was no bracket for it. our view was of a stairwell but this meant it stayed quite dark in the room, especially early morning, evening times - this was actually a plus for us as we had a couple of late nights and were glad not to be woken by the light!! plus, if you want views, step outside the front door and walk ten metres to your right!|| Bed was initially hard (for me) but got used to it. it was hot outside at the start of our trip so we were also glad for the easy to use and programmable A/C but it wouldnt have been terrible without it. || For the price, it was excellent place to stay with a great location. perfect for coming back to at the end of the day or waking up to, being able to make yourself a hot drink and get ready before heading out to explore the wonderful surroundings (location wise, it is really excellent - right beside parliament, with the main no4-6 and no 2 trams a couple mins walk away) We didnt expect the Hilton for the price and we didnt get it, what we got was a nice cosy little apartment to come back to.||||If you are the type of person who doesn't mind if you have to wait (and we actually didnt as we kept in touch) or all you care about is you have a comfy secure spot in a good location - this place is perfect for you. its not luxury, but for us was more...
Read more✅ Positive Aspects
• Convenient Location: Situated within a 10-minute walk from the train station, making it easily accessible. • Functional Amenities: The air conditioner, refrigerator, and shower operated without issue. • Reasonable Pricing: Offers good value for travelers seeking a basic place to rest and refresh.
❌ Areas for Improvement
• Check-In Policy: An additional fee was charged for early check-in, despite the website indicating that access should be available. • Facility Maintenance: The room exhibited several issues, including a leaking ceiling, a loose toilet bowl, and a malfunctioning shower sink. • Hygiene Concerns: Due to the shower leak, the kitchen sink had to be used for personal hygiene, which is not ideal. • Shower Curtain Design: The curtain clings to the body during use; replacing it with a glass or plastic enclosure would enhance comfort and cleanliness. • Check-Out Time: A 10:00 AM check-out felt unnecessarily early; extending it to 11:00 AM would be more...
Read moreWe hade an AMAZING trip in Budapest (april this year). Our apartment was superclean, nice and comfy beds and pillows, big bathroom with a fancy shower and a washingmachine. We were 6 people stayin in this apartment and it was perfect. The guy who introduced us to the apartment was so friendly and kind. He was welcoming us in the middle of the night (bcuz Thats when we arrived) and he had brought us a bottle of white wine he tought was a "must try" and on every bed there was wrapped pieces of chocolate and a towel for each person. We accedently gave him to much money when we arrived. And he left with them, but came knocking on our door just absolut 10 minuits after he left. And then told us he had counted the money again and gave us our "extra money" back . So very honest of him! We will absolutly stay here again! We really do recomend it! Had an...
