We ate here twice within a year. Passing by, I caught the wonderful smell of the "Döner" and immediately understood it was a Turkish kebab shop without even looking. We went inside, it was evening but there were plenty of tables available. They operate on self-service. The gentleman, whom I assume is the owner of the restaurant, took our orders and quickly prepared and served them. The soups and rice with döner were very delicious. The portions were also satisfying. We really liked it.
A year later when we returned to Budapest, this restaurant was on our list of places to eat. Unfortunately, they were very busy when we visited and were lacking in service. They were rushing and it was quite chaotic. Despite clearly stating that we did not want sauce, they prepared our orders incorrectly. When we asked for it to be changed, they did so but without a polite response. I noticed they also prepared other people's orders incorrectly. I would recommend them to be a bit more calm. Thankfully, they were still good in terms of taste; we really enjoyed...
Read moreI’ve been a loyal customer at this place for over 5–6 years. Their shawarma has always been one of the best in Budapest — especially around three years ago, it was absolutely perfect. But what I received today was just pure disappointment.
The shawarma was cold, with barely any meat, and about 12–13 pieces of tomato. Why so many? The sauce seems to have changed again, and honestly, it keeps getting worse every time. It feels like they change the sauce every year or two, and never for the better. This feels like disrespect toward a loyal customer.

From now on, I’ll only come when the shift I trust is working. If they also start making it poorly — I’ll sadly have to look for another place. I really love this restaurant, but today’s experience was...
Read moreAlthough they don't claim specifically, since they are displaying Islamic calipgraphy and being Turkish restaurant, we assumed that they serve halal.
It's a self service restaurant. Be sure to ask about ingredients because looks maybe deceptive sometimes :)
What this means is that a dish with name of kebab can actually be mostly vegetables. Be sure to ask about it. If they don't know English, they will call someone for you who will know English.
When we visited, doner sandwich was 750 forints and if you want it in a plate, it's 1500, double. Apparently the plate has more or less similar contents without the sandwich part but who it's double price, don't know.
The doner itself is ok nothing special about it. But the restaurant always seems busy even till late night. However, they don't open in the morning till 10.
We also tried their fish and...
