East Private Rooms — Hotel in Budapest

How can I start this review? Well, first of all, they "cancelled" our reservation like 4 days before we go, because they were overbooked, and they offered us another place that was similar, since it was really close to the trip we just accepted. We sent an email telling that we were going to arrive between 6/7 am and we would like to leave our luggage until the check-in and they said it was ok! |We arrived at 7 am and it was raining, the building it's an apartment building, there is no reception and for you to get in you will need a passcode. Since nobody was there we tried to call them, after a while they answered and they told us to go to another hostel to let our luggage... we couldn't find the place, they could just give us the password to the building. |About the place, it's clean and the room is big and nice, but we were so stressed that this didn't matter!|Ps.: the Wi-Fi wasn't working, so we call them twice and nobody...

First of all, I have to say that the location is good, close to the train station, to the metro station and to lots of bus stops. Our room was big, the toilets were ok and so seemed the shared kitchen, even though I never used it. The hostel is very small, basically an apartment; all the furniture is quite new.|Cons: there is no reception, we never really had an interection with someone of the staff - they left our keys in a safe deposit box we opened with the code they gave us. Stayed one night here at the end of July. It has a very nice view of Keleti pu. However, during this time of the year everything felt kinda wrong 😂. When you open the window it’ll be noisy and you can’t wake up late bacuse of the sun, but if you close it will be hot. They provide fan which was enough for me, fortunately.

For the price, it is a good deal. The apartment was clean and kitchen equipped with microwave, kettle, and comple tableware.
