Oh boy, where to even start.
First off, let me just say that I'm not an expert on Thai food. I'm not going to say that this is REAL and AUTHENTIC thai food because to be honest, I got as far as pad thai and stopped there. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. :)
What I will say is that this is the best eastern food restaurant I've ever been to in my life. I usually get a Pad Thai and my girlfriend gets a Pad Si Iyu. We alternate eating each other's choice of food because they are both equally amazing. I don't know if the noodles are homemade, but especially the Pad Si Iyu noodles are flippin' amazing. The sauce is scrumptious, the ingredients are fresh, and the serving size is way bigger than I would ever expect. And all this for 3400 Ft / dish? Are you KIDDING me? I feel like I'm stealing from this poor family!
Speaking of family, I love going here. It feels like going home and eating my mom's cooking. Sometimes, mom/grandma is in the restaurant doing homework with her (grand)child. I can hear children running and laughing upstairs. Someone's son takes my order and his sister brings the food from upstairs. You can feel that there is love in this family and they put true passion into their food. Shout-out to the kid with the metal hoodie that took my order one time, you were so polite and awesome. Your parents should be proud of you!
I would be willing to wait an hour for this food, although I never have to. It usually takes like 10-20 minutes for the food to get ready. I'm glad that it's not faster, because to me this means that it is made fresh, and you can 100% tell that it is. Compared to the myriad of chinese restaurants in the city serving the exact same low quality, oily food, this place is like an oasis in the desert of Budapest.
Thank you for the amazing experience you guys provide me with everytime I visit your restaurant. I hope you...
Read moreI had one of the best Pad Thais I’ve ever tasted at this restaurant. The dish was packed with authentic flavour and truly satisfying. You can tell that they use quality ingredients, and the portion sizes were quite decent for the price.
The restaurant itself is a small and cozy space, seating around 20 people at most. During peak hours, there can be a bit of a wait — around 15 to 20 minutes — as the food is freshly prepared. But honestly, it’s well worth the wait.
Most dishes are priced reasonably between €8 and €10, making it a great value for both the taste and quality. Overall, it was a lovely experience and I’d definitely return to try more...
Read moreWe came here on a monday night. The place was empty. Not even a waiter or cashier was there. They were ot the upper floor so we had to wait a bit till someone came down. We ordered pork meatballs with chili sauce 4000 ft and rice 700ft and a pad thai for around 3500 (not sure). The Pad Thai was okay. Not the best that I ever ate but was not bad at all. Actually it was tasty. The meatballs were not so much. They were weird tasting and the chili sauce was overwhelmingly spicy. Usually i can handle hot quite well. The decoration was nothing special. The food does not exactly look like on the menu or on the walls. The lady who served...
