Operahouse Rooms — Hotel in Budapest

The location is beautiful, accesible, it is next to the metro station, it has stores next to it. The bathroom was awfully dirty, no cleaning lady,the bedroom door couldnt be locked from outside, this wouldnt be such a big problem if you didnt have to share the place with other tentants and with the owner(who is there almost all day on his laptop, either in the kitchen or in the hall). There was absolutely no paperwork As for the checkout,it was terrible. We were eating in the bedroom and the owner opened the door to our room and said "you have to leave in 10 minutes" and told us to leave the bedroom door opened as we got ready... I wouldnt recommend...

The place is wonderful, has its own peszt atmosphere, the standard is low, low price - low quality, there was nothing bad in it, apart from that you couldn't close your door to the room, you will share the apartment with other tenants, (not the room) that's nothing to worry but watch out they don't have to be friendly. We had everything we needed, even more, you can make breakfast, use a fridge for wine, there's ice I bought last weekend. Even better than in a hotel room. One thing that was not good for other people leaving there, the construction is like a Philharmonia, you can hear every louder sound. So if you're making a party go...

Not a single sign showing where the place is. I had to ask random people around for 50 minutes to understand where the place was. The owner never tried to contact me, he didnt answer my phone call as well.

After arrival, the place couldn’t be any worse. Dirty, dark, smelly, I rather sleep on the street than this place.

Save yourself your nerves, pay a bit more and book a better place, you will have a bad taste of Budapest if you stay at...
