The very best place in the heart of Budapest. If you want to experience great whiskey and rum and cognac, this is the place you must visit. The staff is amazing, they know everything about the drinks and they recommend based on your needs. Highly recommend! Besides the drinks, they organize events, like book reading nights. Bartenders were really good at recommending drinks. Perfect place to try out new whisky and gin. Most of their customers are regulars and I was the only tourist there. However, they did not take advantage of us by selling us the most expensive drinks but rather gave us a lower tiered one first and letting us smell them to see if we liked it. Prices were also really affordable compared to other bars around the area. Ambience was quiet and perfect for chill drinks. The bartender with specs was really kind and I went there 2 days in a row. Nappali has the finest selection of scotch I found in four months in Budapest, a city where most bars start and stop at Johnny Walker red. I didn't even begin to sample the impressive-looking shelves of grappa, palinka, irish whiskey, or gin (but I can recommend a gin&tonic with the saffron gin -- summery and delicious!).
