Venky's Stay Inn & Party Hall — Hotel in Karnataka

I stayed here between Dec 30 - Dec 2. This hotel is true to their words - unpretentious. The location is superb. Close to highway and within 1 kms from Krishna temple.

Contrary to what other reviewers shared, I had a good experience of their reception staff. The rooms were decent, nothing fancy but not tacky as well. Sheets and towels were clean. Towels were replenished on daily basis (on cleaning request). Hot water 24 hours. Their service staff is efficient. But there were 3 things I think could have been better. 1. On the last day, I found cocroaches in the roon, so that was a mood dampener for me. 2. Apart from 2 500ml bottles that you get on the first day of arrival, you get no free water. You have to pay for water. 3. Their breakfast. Don't opt for it, please. Their breakfast does not mean the buffet spread that you normally get, but a parcel of a couple of breakfast items of 'their' choice. Venky's, please understand that when people opt for breakfast, first - they expect a buffer and second - they want to eat what they like, not what you think they must like.

Apart from these issues, I loved the overall stay. They have dedicated basement parking. So, if you have hired a bike, you can safely keep it there. It is definitely not a budget stay, unlike what others are saying. I will definitely think of staying here again, when I visit Udupi...

Please don't go by the photos they post on Google. The reality is different . There are no landlines in room to call to reception . We bought our luggage by our own to the rooms and vacated by our own there are no hotel service I stayed in this hotel for 1 night and it was very bad experience we booked two rooms for 17k which is so costly for one night for the service they provided . Please do not stay in this hotel if you want a good trip . They gave complimentary breakfast infront of room which is terrible. Coconut chutney is so cold and waterly seems like they are serving yesterday nights chutney . We ordered poori curry and the waiter brings sambar and says its Poori curry .Please do not choose this hotel specially for food.I would not recommend...

It was a new year eve and only this hotel accomodated us thankfully!! We paid Rs2700 for a small room and since it's late-night we didn't have a choice!! The hotel is located inside Udupi town and a 10 minutes drive from goa Highway. The room is neat and service is good. But cleanliness had to be improved!! They have limited rooms and parking facility accordingly. The only and biggest concern of the stay is food. They don't have restaurant and morning free breakfast was served in a small hotel located opposite to the hotel Such a pathetic hotel with a bad food ( I found a bug in sambar). They have to seriously work on the restaurant issue which totally spoil...
