I want to give a huge thank you to three incredible team members—Nikhil, Akhil, and Anoop! They went above and beyond to help me recover my lost AirPods, which I had misplaced so painfully. They searched door to door with me, speaking to all the shop owners on my behalf—even in the pouring rain! Their dedication speaks volumes about the level of customer service here.

They wouldn’t even accept a tip, saying it was their pleasure to help! Wow! This experience ensures that I’ll always stay here whenever I’m in Ernakulam.

Thank you to the owner, Vishnu, Prayith, and all the cleaning staff for such an outstanding environment. And a special thanks to these three gentlemen—your kindness made a lasting impression! 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

Vibe 😎 I love staying at Reach Residency hotel. I come to Ernakulam for business purposes and just need a clean, cheap, safe place to stay… Reach Residency fits the bill! Every time I stay here, I receive excellent customer service and feel safe, always get a great price.

Location 📍 The location is perfect, with a grocery store right around the corner, a bank across the street that accommodates MasterCard transactions, which is helpful for USA visitors, plenty of restaurants, and shopping centers nearby! You are also close to Airtel, HP World, Apple Care Center (Apple), and a Western Union across the street. They have WiFi, and the rooms are nice for the price!!!

Cleanliness 🧼🧽🧹 The staff do a great job at cleaning! If you want the room to be more to a western standard of cleanliness or you are OCD like I am, just go to the grocery store around the corner and grab what you need! 😉 As an added note, this place is perfect for foreigners who are not overly picky (City folk) who just want a nice, simple, inexpensive temporary stay in a great location with awesome customer service that accommodate foreigners!!! (not every hotel does in India).

For the foreigners 🎒 🙃 Pro tip, keep the bathroom vent fan running-keep the bathroom door and window open! (This may help with any complaints of bad smells in a single room). I use Harpic bathroom cleaner which makes my room smell super clean!!! I also put Clorox bleach (or any brand bleach) in the sink and the toilet, kills any smells! You can find bleach in Hypermarket or get powder bleach on Jew Street (Broadway).

Remember ✋🏼 As was mentioned earlier, this place is great for the PRICE. If you want upscale accommodations then book the Marriott! (Too expensive right?)…Then stop complaining! 🤣

Not bad. Budget friendly and I have stayed here for an extended time, however a few things to note:

First I will note all the good things:

1. Located in the city with lots of restaurants and shops nearby.
2. The wifi is top notch! The best I have experienced in any hotel... Very fast speeds and very stable with low ping (if that matters to you).
3. Hot/cold water dispenser having good quality water in common areas.
4. Friendly staff.

Not so good things:

1. In case of booking a single room : It's in a crowded city area. The heat and pollution means that if you book a single room (No AC), you are effectively gonna kill yourself. Only book if you are absolutely sure you can handle the heat at night else it will affect your sleep. Ventilation is very poor and the room feels extremely muggy due to the humidity. The view outside the small window was that of another building. But since you are paying very less for these rooms, maybe it's ok with you.

2. in case you are booking a deluxe room : It has an AC. Sleep will be better as long as there are no bed bugs. The first time I booked a deluxe room I had several bedbugs. The next day pest control purged the room but still there were some bugs. Also there was the strong smell of insect killer. Cockroaches are also a common sight. No comforter / duvet. Just an ugly looking yellow/brown blanket.

3. In case you are booking a king room : This hotel has a weird quirk. The more expensive rooms are on the ground floor. There are no bed bugs problems in these rooms, however there are other bloodsuckers known as mosquitoes. The mosquitoes come into the rooms from under the gap in the door, or every time you open the door. This could have been avoided if the "king" rooms were on the top floors where mosquitoes are less. There was also no outside view from my room as it had no windows (probably because the outside view is an ugly wall of another building). Still no comforter or duvet... Just the same old sh*t colored blanket, but the room is more furnished with better tables and chairs, softer beds, and better toilets. Also included was a water bottle and 4 glasses. No other toiletries except for a small...

Note: Don't take any room from here. Mainly Miss behaving staffs. Clean less room, Noisy generator sounds, congested toilets, leakage tapes.

We booked a room at Reach Residency, which is near Ernakulam General Hospital, for my father's hospitalization needs.

Due to the lack of nearby places and other hotel availability, Me and wife checked into this hotel at midnight (12:00 AM).

Unfortunately, my experience was far below expectations. Upon entering the room, there was a very unpleasant, sticky smell. Since it was late, we adjusted and stayed there despite the discomfort. However, it was difficult to rest.

Additionally, the noise from the generator disturbed our sleep. They knock the door sharp 12.30 wanted to check out the room. We had booked the room for 24 hours, as understood from the room rate. When we mentioned other issues faced in the room, the hotel staff, explanation was from 12.00 midnight to 12.00 noon is their time. Not 24hrs. They did not inform us about this before we check in /we booked the room. When we pointed this out, the staff's behavior became very bad. Despite offering to make additional payments, the staff continued to behave very bad. We did not receive any consideration or respect as an individual.

In a city like Ernakulam, with so many tourist spots, it is difficult for a person to see all these in 12 hours. A travelers also, who comes to explore the place should not have to pay double for a one-day stay in such poor conditions. It can be understood from the behavior of the hotel staff that such a hotel or room is not suitable for anyof them. Considering the hotel's rules and the poor conditions, it is hard to visit to here without complaints or...
