I recently ordered from Trivandrum Chicken Corner expecting a decent meal, but the experience turned out to be a disaster.

Ghee Rice:

The ghee rice was incredibly disappointing. It lacked flavor and didn’t have even a hint of ghee, which is supposed to be its highlight. It felt like plain, bland rice with no aroma or richness.

Full Chicken Fry:

The portion size was a major letdown. Though it was advertised as 10 pieces, I received only 8 small pieces.

The chicken tasted awful due to the poor quality of oil used for frying. The stale oil completely overpowered any seasoning or flavor.

The experience was so bad that I ended up vomiting after consuming it.

The meal cost ₹740, which is exorbitant given the poor quality, bad taste, and reduced quantity. It felt like a complete waste of money.

After such a horrible experience, I called the restaurant to report the issue. Unfortunately, the owner was unprofessional and hung up the call without addressing my concerns. Their behavior reflects a complete lack of accountability and care for customers.

Trivandrum Chicken Corner fails miserably in terms of food quality, hygiene, and customer service. I would strongly advise against ordering from here. The bad taste and use of old oil are health hazards. For ₹740, you deserve far better in terms of taste, quantity, and service.

READ THIS BEFORE VISITING HERE. ALL 5 STAR REVIEWS HERE ARE FAKE. Why has people given these much good 5 star rating to this place? Today i visited here and have had 1 Half chicken fry & Neychor. At the first bite, i understood that The chicken fry is made up with the worst of all oil. I have never had felt such taste even when i had ate local Chilly baji made by Bhai's of perumbavoor. The oil i think they are taking used oil from other restaurants. Food Safety authorities must take action against this. The quantity was also too less. Neychor was good. At last, they brought us lime water which we didn't ordered. Tactical business, but it was ok for us.

There wasn't anything exemplary about the chicken fry we got there... It was just another ordinary chicken fry and I wouldn't call it to be an extraordinary dish. It is just a normal chicken fry. But I did love the fact that they serve complimentary lime juices to all the customers, and you can even get a refill at just rupees 5. I mean that is totally wow. That is the only thing which I liked at the place. The customer service was really warming and the staffs were happy to help us out with anything. I went at a rather off time so I didn't experience any rush at the place in fact we were only customers there at that time. The menu is not very expensive and it's definitely not that cheap, it's somewhere in the middle. The bill came around 400 for the 4 of us. Yes they do have online payment modes including UPI...
