During my recent visit to Kovalam, I had the pleasure of staying at Star Inn Plus, and it turned out to be a delightful budget-friendly gem. The rooms at Star Inn Plus exceeded my expectations for a budget-friendly option. They were not only clean but also well-maintained, providing a comfortable and cozy retreat after a day of exploring Kovalam. The ambiance of the rooms added a touch of serenity to the stay. Mr. Linto, the manager, deserves a special mention for his exceptional hospitality. He was not only friendly but also incredibly helpful, providing valuable tips about local attractions and ensuring a smooth and pleasant stay. The entire staff echoed this friendliness, creating a welcoming atmosphere throughout the hotel. Star Inn Plus boasts a well-maintained ambiance that adds to the overall positive experience. The decor is simple yet charming, creating a relaxed atmosphere that resonates with the laid-back vibes of Kovalam. The hotel is well-maintained, reflecting a commitment to providing a comfortable and pleasant environment for guests. Common areas and facilities were consistently clean and tidy, contributing to an overall positive impression. Star Inn Plus is indeed family-friendly, making it an ideal choice for travelers with children. Pathetic, we stayed here for two days and took two rooms (28th Dec to 30th Dec 2023). One room's bathroom was stinking like hell. There was drainage problem with the bathroom in other room. Running muddy water from the taps, see the picture attached. The property manager was non cooperative and incompetent, he could not even arrange a paid drop to airport. On top of all these, we requested for 3 hours late checkout from one room (the other room was already checked out 4 AM), had to pay half day charges (Rs 1500) for that. Although most of the rooms were vacant. No services at all. The only positive thing worth mentioning is the cleanliness, but that too goes in vain when the bathroom taps give dirty...

You will never find such a third class, worthless hotel. We booked for 3 days, 2 rooms, came out after one day and lost Rs. 18000/-.. Rate Rs.4500/- per day per room , date 29, 30 and 31st Dec. No person to take your luggage, No tea or coffee, no breakfast, worst bed. Water in a dirty plastic Jug, no glasses for taking water. Ceiling fan with No regulator.Rug without cover. Hotel entry full of rubbish. No phone in room, even to communicate with reception. Only one person, just to take money from you, no one got providing any service. Can you expect any thing worse than this. No star below one, otherwise I would have given...
