Namaste Cafe & Restaurant - Best Indian Food Restaurant in Udaipur — Restaurant in Rajasthan

I am so disappointed with this restaurant because the first time I went here, I genuinely liked their service and food. Their 'Cheese tomato toast' was my favourite. It was greasy, cheesy and fresh. I went the second time for this toast only. The third time I went here, the toast was not grilled neither did it have three layers of bread and upon inquiring with pictures online, the manager denied that they ever had something like this and rolled his eyes at me. It really got me mad considering how I knew what I was talking about and instead of genuinely sorting it out, he found this matter irritating. Anyway, I decided to give it a fourth chance. This time before ordering, I cleared exactly how I wanted my toast and the waiter said they make it like that. But this time, the toast was just bread cut in small pieces with cheese and tomato, unlike anything they were serving. I asked him about what he confirmed before and he got irritated and said that they have changed the toast. Like after he went to the kitchen? SCAM! PLEASE DON'T GO BY THE RATINGS AND READ THIS👇 This place is not at all as what is shown in the images. We went here after seeing the ratings and the reviews but the food was very average and the service was beyond pathetic. They took 40 minutes to prepare an omlette. It was at 11 am so it wasn't that we came too early that the place just opened up and the place wasn't even too crowded. It was just us there. The owner of this place is a different character altogether. We were in the middle of having breakfast and he came and switched off all the lights to "save electricity". The place doesn't have a rooftop but is on the ground floor and has no direct sunlight so we were essentially sitting in the dark. Peaceful place. Good service. Exotic location and this place is a full package. It's just 50-100 meters away from Pichola lake and from the jetty (from where you can go on a lake tour and have a refreshing bath in the lake) and within 500 meters from City palace, Udaipur. This place has everything under a roof - rooftop cafe with the view of lake, economic stay, art and craft shops and many more. You can find the stay in websites in the name 'Gangaur Palace'. Architecture and ambiance in the place is outstanding. They have lift facility. The food is perfect (I had mug coffee(It has approx: 4-5 cups of coffee - a must try) and Cinnamon Roll with honey).
