Had worst experience with them... At the time of booking no clear communication was done about the facilities.. when we checked in, we were instructed about the do's and don'ts of staying there, which was not acceptable to us. So we requested them to let us go ... After much discussion their owner, Mr. Kapil jain agreed and ensured that the money will be refunded.. we confirmed again and again and he assured. But its been a month, no one answers the calls and no one responds. Had he told us then and there that he is in need of money and is fooling us, we would have stayed there atleast to recover the money that we had already paid... Your financial condition is that bad that you would start to rob people?
Property was, no doubt, beautiful but didn't appreciate the attitude of people especially the owner. Kapil ji, you have all the time to respond to the reviews here but no time to respond to our email. ------------------------------------------------ Thanks for your response.. Much appreciate that you took out time from your such a busy schedule to respond since our email to you dated 29th March 2024 and followup emails there after. I respect your 48 hours policy. But my concern is still not answered. We were mislead and no where in our booking voucher or on your website it was mentioned that your's is a pure veg hotel. This was informed to us when we checked in. When we raised our concern, you tried to pressurize and threaten us by telling about your legal connections. You were so sure that your staff informed us about the hotel policy. When we asked for the recording of our booking, you ignored that. Well, my point is of your commitment and assurance. We repeated asked you and you assured that the money will be refunded. However it's been a month and no one has bothered to connect with us on this despite of our emails and calls. Had you told us about your intentions on the very day, we would have taken a call accordingly, either to stay there to recover the amount paid or called the authorities for intervention. I am surprised to realise that someone who was telling us about him being and millionaire is playing games for just Rs 7000.. That day you were targetting "Delhiwale". But poor Delhiwale, trust people so easily. We are working class people who work hard everyday and earn money. We do not play games to take or rob other people's hard earned money. -------------------------- It seems that the person responding to these messages cannot read and has been given a draft to paste as a response. I'm not here to teach you on how to enhance your customer skills. I have raised a question and seeking answer on that. I'm asking if you did not have any intentions to return the money, why did you agree for refund? It is your fault that you did not update the complete information on your website and no information on our booking voucher too. It is clearly misselling. We booked your place because we wanted to stay there. And you clarified your terms and conditions when we checked in. I'm paying for it and you can't force your terms and conditions on me. Had you made us aware of the terms of your hotel earlier, we would have made a thoughtful decision. No response till now... By now Mr. Kapil Jain, you must have made millions out of our money... How cheap one could be who claims himself to be a millionaire is fooling people just for a few grands.. Absolutely SHAMEFUL AND DISGUSTING.. God...
Read morePROS No other haveli has such Magnificent MARBLE/STONE interiors. Hotel has BRAND NEW condition interiors and exteriors. Interiors are in all common places, so all guests can avail of photograpghy. This hotel is so beautiful from outside and inside, that it is as good as an additional sight-seeing point. See for yourself from the photos I have uploaded. Hotel is EXACTLY same as the photos. Everything is IMMACULATELY clean. Design is so thoughtful that every tourist can get at least 20 master piece photos. The terrace pool has a stairway going up to the top lounge deck. I was singing the Led Zepplin song “Stairway to Heaven” Sunrise and sunset views are spectacular with the fort in the background. If you come to Jaisalmer, you must experience living in a haveli, and what’s better than staying at a PLUSH and MARBLE/STONE carved one. We stayed in the fort view suite. Room windows are olden haveli style to match the façade and hence small. Plenty of lounge cubicles on the roof top terrace to take photos with the fort in the background. Very quiet, traditional heritage boutique hotel.
CONS Food takes time for preparation, but then again, don’t you prefer freshly made? No Non-veg options at the hotel. This is a problem at most haveli hotels in Jaisalmer since the local owners are mostly of Jain religion and one has to respect that. However, the owner was understanding enough to suggest a few non-veg restaurants near-by. Room price is not cheap, but you will definitely get MORE THAN YOUR MONEY’S WORTH. Compare with other hotels and see for yourself how much the hotel has invested in opulent interiors especially the centre-courtyard. Would appreciate more individual food items on the lunch and dinner menu. (Cr...
