Unforgettable Stay at Hotel Haveli – Feels Like Home in the Golden City I had the most amazing experience at Hotel Haveli in Jaisalmer, and I can confidently say this was one of the best parts of my Rajasthan journey Rooms The rooms are spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated with traditional Rajasthani architecture. The carved sandstone walls and antique-style wooden furniture gave it a true haveli feel. The bathroom was modern and spotless, and the AC worked perfectly even in the peak afternoon heat. From the window and rooftop, you get a mesmerizing view of Jaisalmer Fort — especially stunning at night when it's all lit up!Desert Safari Package: The desert safari organized by Hotel Haveli was nothing short of magical. It included a camel ride through the golden sand dunes of Sam, an authentic Rajasthani dinner under the stars, folk music, and a peaceful overnight stay in a desert camp. The setup was clean, safe, and comfortable — with proper bedding and clean toilets (which is rare in many desert camps). Sleeping under the open sky and watching the stars in complete silence was a once-in-a-lifetime moment Pickup from the train station (on time and very helpful)One night in the hotel, one night in the desert Camel and jeep safari both included All meals provided during the safari Cultural dance and music show at the dunes Mineral water and snacks throughout the journey The package was very affordable for the quality and attention to detail we received.Owner & Staff: A huge part of why this stay was so memorable is because of Issack and Barkat Bhai, the kind-hearted brothers who run the place. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel like part of the family. They helped arrange everything — from local sightseeing and tuk-tuks to hidden food gems in the city. They genuinely care about their guests' comfort, not just as customers but as people. Issack Bhai even sat with me in the evening to explain the local history and desert traditions — something you don't get at chain hotels. Summary: Beautiful haveli-style rooms with fort view Desert safari was authentic, safe, and magical Very reasonably priced packages Personalized care and hospitality from Issack & Barkat Bhai If you're visiting Jaisalmer, don’t think twice — book Hotel Haveli. It’s more than just a hotel — it’s an experience you’ll carry with you forever Would you like this review formatted for Google, TripAdvisor, or Booking.com? I can adjust it based on where you...
Read moreMy Family and I visited Jaiselmer in the Second week of March 2023. We stayed at hotel Haveli. It's a family-run hotel and you can tell that all generations of the family care about the hotel and their guests. Issack Bhai (Owner) is a gem in a desert. Hotel Haveli has a Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay is the staff. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice. From the room, I had a beautiful view of Jaiselmer Fort, also called Sonar Qila (Golden Fort). They also have a sitting area at the Rooftop, where we enjoyed our Evening & next day Morning. How we landed in this Hotel: After returning from Sam Desert, we decided to stay in Jaiselmer city to explore its market. We were looking for a hotel that is near to fort as well as market. So, I started my hunt on Google Maps. We checked in a few hotels that were near to fort. After checking out a few hotels we landed in Hotel Haveli. That’s when we met a Gem – Mr. issack. My brother-in-Law and I went to second floor to see the accommodating rooms. We scanned the whole floor including rooms and the roof top only to narrate the whole story to our wife’s who were sitting in the car. We zeroed in on two hotels, One Hotel Haveli and another at back side of Desert boy restaurant. These two hotels have a good view of fort from their rooms, located near to the market & had an ample parking space. While we were discussing the pros and cons of these two hotels, Issack Bhai called me regarding photographer on my phone. Actually, I had enquired him about a photographer while we were in hotel negotiating room’s rent. Out of helpfulness, he called and gave us the info. He knew we might not visit his property again but still he called in order to pass on the info that might make our journey memorable. So, this phone call was an extra weight in deciding our Hotel. Issack Bhai Keep on doing what you do, special and unique. As everyone knows every journey begins with one step. This hotel has great people, great location and great presence. Overall, we loved our stay at Hotel Haveli and would highly recommend it to anyone...
Read moreHI we visited this Hotel on 12th December and stayed here till 14th December 2018 Morning. I will be fair while writing review for HOtel Haveli. Firstly the good thing about this Hotel is " Commitment" which the Owner Mr Isaq Bhai has shown us there , while booking this hotel he told me to offer pick up and drop from and to railway station, which he did in the very cold morning in Jaisalmer on 12th December when our train reaches the station. But when I called him about our arrival at station, he personally came to station by driving himself to pick up us till hotel as his driver did not come on time.Second good thing about this hotel is that they have perfectly planned and booked our trip in organize way ,so that I was not at all a hassle for us. Because of these factors I will rate this hotel a good rating.
But now I want to highlight few parts of the hotel which I did not like and hope they will think to improve on this sector.(it is completely my view). Firstly Some important things should be transparent like they do not have any room fare chart to display for the tourist, they do not have any menu chart for the food items (though Barkat Bhai has given me discounts on food bill, many appreciate ) and like other good hotels you should have a complete power supply facility i.e generator.
Lastly a few gestures of Mr Barkat Bhai (Brother of Mr isaq Bhai) I did not like that is during my stay with my family ,few times when my 4 yrs old boy was behaving naughty in the hotel, that time Barkat Bhai was rude behaving with my child (shouted loudly to my boy not to do any mess at hotel ,though he could manage the thing in different way , which I think no owner should not do with his customer's family.
overall apart from above small things I will refer this hotel to all my friends and relatives to visit for other...
