Atmosphere 5/5 : Adyar Coffee Shastra is beautifully crafted with a space to drink your Coffee & Tea with your friends and family. It's an open shop. Like other Tea shops it's not closed with doors.

Service 4/5 : Service is Good with polite & friendly behaviour. But at times when it's over crowded billing is quite slow.

Food 4.5/5 : It's hygenic. You have lot of choice in Snacks. You have both traditional & Bakery style snacks. Every time they heat the milk and then they give tea or coffee. Like other Tea shops they don't put the milk in big drum which heats throughout the day this spoils tea taste & it's effectiveness. Biscuits are very tasty. All the items in shop are carefully maintained with utmost good care. My favorite Snacks is VADA PAV. Honestly this Vada pav is so nice. Tea & Coffee comparing other Tea shops it's much better. They give option for Normal Sugar & Organic Naatu Sugar.

Pricing & Quantity 3.5/5 :

It's decently priced & the quantity they give is also decent. But the lower middle class people can't spend the money over here for having tea or snacks on a daily basis.

Negatives:

During summer in afternoons you can't stand inside the shop. It's very very hot.

They should add one more billing table.

My visit to @coffeeshastra yesterday evening with my colleague sarbajeetg & what we had is given below:

Reached the outlet in Adayar around 7pm. They have parking space for 2-wheeler. Parked my vehicle and entered the outlet.

This is a cozy outlet with seating capacity for 10(2 tables with 2 chairs each). It was full.

After few minutes, when there was some seating available, we took the seat.

Had few delicacies which includes:

1. Bun with butter & jam
2. Honey bun with butter & jam
3. Maska cheese bun
4. Vada Pav
5. Boiled peanuts
6. Paneer Puff
7. Chocolate Filter Coffee &
8. Irish filter coffee

These are the highlights:

1. They prepare the ingredients which includes butter, jam, mint leaf Chutney on their own(in-house)
2. Softness of the bun is the highlight. Never had I come across such a tasty bun
3. My colleague liked Vada Pav the most
4. I loved everything but to me honey bun was the highlight
5. Do not miss to taste their Irish filter coffee

The rates are affordable and you will like it for sure.

A nice welcoming place for sweet nothing chats, quick bites, and refreshing coffee. (I visited this place again in April, 2022 and my opinion is unchanged!) Though the place is very small, it doesn't matter, for the youth seems to say, as seen by continuous flow of friends in small groups. They have a simple exciting menu with varieties of Vada Pav, Bun Butter Jam, cheese Maggi, choices in Coffee and Tea and cold drinks like Chocolate drinks, Mojito and so on. If you are healh conscious you can get green tea too or settle with ginger tea for that thrilling taste. The ambience is beautiful and the staff are friendly and helpful. There are few seats available. The rates are very reasonable and it's one of the attraction. The taste is very good. Bun Butter Jam is very popular and we approve it! It's just Rs.35 and coffee is Rs 30 which is very refreshing. They sell Health Drinks, Roasted Cashews, Almonds too. Cash, card or Phonepe are acceptable. Park the vehicle on the roadside and enjoy the treat. Located at Shastri Nagar, 2nd Avenue Adyar, it's open up to 10 p.m. Why not visit and enjoy...
