Boss, dishing out a good Pongal vadai set for breakfast is an art and Sree Ram Bhavan has got this one down properly. That is why despite the array of new breakfast places in the adyar vicinity, many of which are more established big name franchises, I keep coming back here for this specific reason. The Pongal is fresh and of great consistency, the red chutney has a nice kick, and the coconut chutney is slightly lower on salt which is great, and best of all, the sambar here is beautifully flavored and with a dal-heavy consistency, which is just perfect with Pongal. This is a small vegetarian eatery with ample parking facilities. This is located right behind the vannanthurai bus stand on MG road that leads towards besant nagar. The food is amazing. The quantity of side dishes provided is truly an excellent portion. All breakfast tiffin items are phenomenal to say the least. The vegetarian lunch options are great. Being in this area for a decade almost, i have just visited today after hearing about their kurma taste from one of my friend. Taste - very Good Service - very quick Ambience - if you are expecting it more than the food taste..this place is not for you.. But very spacious inside..
