The Bistrograph located in Adyar serving Fish and Chips, Burger, Pasta, Word Fire Pizza, Speciality Coffee, Thickshakes, Panna cotta and more.

Egg Benedict: Split English Muffin topped with Smoked Salmon, Poached Egg and Hollandaise Sauce. Tasted very good with runny yolk.

Crispy Chicken Donut Burger: Hot & Crispy Golden fried chicken dunked in homemade hot buffalo sauce served in-between a sugar glazed donut served with Fries. Tasted good and different.

English Fish and Chips: Battered fried sea bass fish served with Fries and Tartare sauce. Fish cooked perfectly and fries tasted extremely good with the sauce.

Braised Lamb Shank: Slow cooked Lamb shank in juice served with creamy polenta & gremolata. Meat is so tender and juicy that it falls off the bone and very flavourful.

Moraccan Chicken Pizza: Thin crust wood fire pizza topped with Harissa Chicken, Broccoli, Red Onions, Black Olives, Greek Yoghurt, Sumac and Cheese. Pizza had a distinct smoky flavour with balanced topping.

Smoked Chicken Sandwich: Grilled Sandwich stuffed with cucumber, tomato, spinach and cubes of smoked chicken served with fries. Tasted good.

Vanilla Bean Panna cotta with Mixed Berry Compote: The panna cotta had a velvety texture and a premium, creamy flavor that was enhanced by the addition of a mixed berry compote.

Kahlua Tiramisu: Layers of Mascarpone, Lady Finger Biscuits Espresso with Coffee liqueur. Tasted good with smooth texture.

Vietnamese Cold Coffee: A magical elixir of perfectly blended espresso, condensed milk, chilled milk and ice cubes. Tasted very light and yummy.

Blueberry Cheesecake Thickshake: Blend of milk, ice cubes with blueberry cheesecake compote. Tasted extremely rich and yummy.

Mango Sunset Thickshake: Blend of milk, ice cubes with mango compote. Tasted extremely...

We went to Bistrograph on a friday afternoon for lunch and we first ordered "The Bistrograph" - Photo print coffee with red velvet flavour and it was good to begin with.

Then we ordered (Rated for 5⭐) 1, Prawn Ajillo - ⭐⭐⭐ ½ 2, Turkish Chicken burger - ⭐½ (Only for fries) 3, Braised Lamb Shank - ⭐ 4, Roasted garlic and tomoto soup - ⭐⭐⭐ 5, Asparagus & Green peas aranchi appetizer - ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 6, Alfredo pasta with veg add-on - ⭐⭐⭐ 7, Italian Burrata - No stars (Abysmal) 8, Virgin mojito - ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Lamb was cooked well but stuff around it was very bad and we could not even tolerate 😤. Patty in burger was not cooked properly and was very raw which made us slightly nauseous.

Worst ever food out of all these was "Italian Burrata". We should not call it a food or even salad. Kindly remove from menu. Waste of money.

We wanted to try cottage cheese skewer but it was not available. They said it will be ready in 30 mins but after 30 mins, they said it will take another 30 mins which was very bad and we had to order this Italian Burrata which was abysmal.

We wanted to try Tiramisu but it was also not available which was really frustrating and we ended up not eating any dessert.

Food was very costly but was average to be honest.

Ambience could've been better as there were too many flies and mosquitos near the table we were seated which was really irritating. They had some devices for calling waiter and bill and it was good experience.

Then later we were offered complimentary photograph and was provided with hard copy in quick time. It was really good and appreciable.

Apart from this photo print coffee and last complimentary photograph, we would term this Bistrograph experience as "Too expensive...

Best authentic place to try out European dishes. An unique photography themed cafe where you can see lot of vintage cameras and properties designed like camera. Their signature Bistrograph, a red velvet brew that comes with the photo of our choice, was really nice and awesome feel.

I loved Harissa Roasted Chicken, Wood fired cheesy garlic bread, Classic fries, Moroccan Chicken Pizza, Six layered Brahma and Panna Cotta. They had a very much authentic flavours and fresh veggies.

Cost of the dishes were very much justifiable and worth for the quality of the food and overall experience.

They had valet parking facility available so it was very much convenient and didn’t face any issues.

Their service quality was exceptional. Surprisingly we got dishes served sooner than we expected in perfect intervals, though it was little crowded.

Ambience was very nice both indoor and outdoor. Only place where there were more noise was only from our table(Imagine having 2 toddlers and 1 baby in one place). They accommodated the kids very nicely, they have some baby chairs with seat belts as well. It was a child friendly place.

Things to improve: In outdoor area, grasses were not maintained properly. It will be wonderful to see the green grasses in between the rocky floor.

Waffle with icecream looked perfect, but it could have better if the waffle can be made little more crispy. It felt like a hard pan cake in texture to me.

Signature Bistrograph red velvet coffee was little cold, it will be awesome if it can be little more hotter.

Overall we had a really nice time with family and...

I really liked this restaurant! It was clean and had a nice atmosphere. The staff were friendly, and the service was quick and organized. The only thing is that the washrooms could be a bit better. For the soup, we tried roasted garlic & tomato, which tasted like regular tomato soup. The green goddess was different; it tasted like raw broccoli, which I personally enjoyed, although others preferred the tomato soup. Now, for starters: 1) Cheesy jalapeno croquettes were good (4/5). 2) The nachos were okay; they claimed it's their best seller, but I didn't find it too special (3.5/5). 3) Fries were nice (4/5). 4) Wood-fired cheesy garlic bread was really good; I'd rate it 4.5. 5) Soft shell tacos were amazing; a must-try (5/5). We also ordered: 1) Funghi Trifolati Pizza with wild mushrooms, which some people didn't like, but I found it yummy (4.5/5). 2) Spaghetti Aglio-e-olio was a bit spicy and oily, not my favorite (3/5). 3) Baked Lasagna was okay (3.5/5). For dessert, we had Six Layered Brahma, a must-try! It's a 6-layer chocolate cake, perfect for two people. We ordered Hot Chocolate, a bit bitter; good for dark chocolate fans, but it was too much for us (12 members). In coolers, we tried virgin mojito and spicy guava. Spicy guava is good if you like chili guava-flavored ice cream. They give a complimentary photo printout as a memory. The owner even gave us a second copy for free when we asked. Overall, I had a good experience, and my favorite was the Six Layered Brahma. I'd love to try it again.
