Rooms are modern designed but addition of a fridge would be great. Food onsite at butternuts bistro, can order via WhatsApp. Our std room in wing overlooking pool incl breakfast. There are cheaper rooms avail in a different wing. Nice pool area with loungers, could improve with some umbrellas, people would stay in the heat of the day then. Staff really helpful. Walking distance to Padang Padang beach and a number of restaurants. Tv in room with international channels, safe, ensuite bathroom. I think the missed opportunity is the rooftop bar which seems half finished and abondoned. The sunset views are glorious, this could be a great evening drinks spot as a lot of smaller places close by 9pm. If you stay here make sure you have a look at the rooftop and the sunset at least once 😉.

Fantastic Stay at Padang Padang Inn - Staff were very lovely and kind: Helping staff assisted with recommendations, scooter rental, and taxis. - Rooms: Clean, tidy rooms with a beautiful balcony view of the pool and greenery. - Housekeeping: Room cleaned daily, accommodating late wake-up times. - All-Day Breakfast: Convenient option included in the stay, offering a eggs, toast, French toast, pancakes, noodles, rice, fruit platter and coffee Great location: Close to great restruants, cafes and beaches. - Overall, Padang Padang Inn provided an exceptional experience with attentive staff and comfortable amenities. Highly recommended.

I originally booked a 3 nights stay in this hotel. Friendly staff helped me with luggage to the room. The room is in quite bad condition, worn out. The bathroom was quite dirty, I wiped my fingers on the wall in the shower and got dirt on my hands. Towel were full of stains and worn out. I asked for another room, but the staff said every room is the same. I received full refund and I appreciate the understanding from the staff in this situation. Found a better and cheaper hotel in uluwatu right after.

We booked to stay one night at Le Sabot as wanted somewhere relatively close to the airport took 45 mins) for a days chill out before braving Jakarta on our way home. We wanted somewhere close to the sea and couldn't have got any closer than our room here!||||We arrived by self drive car and found the sign easily enough in the little one road town. It pointed us down a track on a circuitous route around what looks like a stalled construction site. We arrived at a car park on top of the cliff and followed a rough path and steep steps down the side of the cliff to where the hotel it situated, seemingly attached to the cliff face. We had reserved room 3 which looks to be the biggest room. This has a large deck overlooking the crashing waves (at high tide) and shallow rock strewn beach (low tide). Beyond is a reef with plenty of surfing action. The room had French windows allowing you to lay in bed watching the sea. It also had a small kitchen area and outdoor bathroom. There's a lot of wood and bamboo and a general rustic air. Directly above us was another smaller room- the hotel is really aimed at surfers and while I would class our room as mid range quality, many of the others were smaller and what I'd definitely put in the 'backpacker' class.||||As I mentioned- I would describe everything as 'rustic'. The sea rules here and it's impossible to keep everything spotless- theres therefore a salty feel. ||There's a bit of mildew here and there and a lot of ants so don't leave food in the room. We also spotted a fine cockroach which scuttled away behind the fridge. The bathroom is literally carved into the cliff face, and you're able to sit on the throne, looking out to sea, with a large rock overhanging your right shoulder. We were warned of monkeys and awoke in the morning to a full troop on the balcony sat watching us! ||||The hotel was staffed by local girls when we visited (Eric the manager was mentioned but we never saw him) and they prepared simple dishes, though didn't speak much English. Without wanting to be sexist this is one hotel where a male porter would be really welcome. I usually prefer to carry my own backpack but the steps up the cliff face were a real killer and I'd have gladly agreed to let someone carry mine on this occasion!||||The real appeal of the hotel is the proximity to the sea. Sat on our balcony you could feel it shake as the deafening waves crashed in. We slept really well though have seen other reviews where people complain about the noise of the sea- if you can't sleep listening to waves don't stay here! The small town of Padang Padang was nice- a handful of bars are restaurants and a small beach with the possibility of swimming- you can actually walk along to the beach from the hotel at low tide. ||||In summary Le Sabot is a really memorable hotel. However if you come expecting mid range luxury you'll be disappointed. If you come with an expectation of an outdoors experience close to the sea,...

We stayed at Le Sabot for 3 nights and it's a little hard to rate as it looks like paradise.||The best I can do is a list of pros and cons.||||Pros: the view (sunsets!); the beach (great for walks, wading and so many shells!, not great for swimming or lounging); the proximity to, and sound of the water is amazing; geckos and monkeys!||||Cons: busy beach; trash on the beach and the hills/cliffs around; lots of ants everywhere inside and out (I know these two things are in many places in Bali, but here it was too much to ignore); the mosquito net was not adequate, didn't close; the fans did not work well enough to keep you cool or to keep away bugs; you definitely need to arrange your own transportation to get around; there are not many food options nearby...though the family at the warung is very nice and they make great ham & cheese or peanut butter & banana jaffles. And then there are the stairs...which we actually didn't mind too much.||||Overall, Le Sabot took some getting used to, not sure if we would stay...
