A Hidden Gem with a Mango Tree That’s a Total Drama Queen!

After a day of shopping near Padang Padang Beach, we stumbled upon this little gem tucked away on the corner of a bustling street. Picture this: a beautiful terrace featuring an actual mango tree right in the middle. Yes, you heard that right—an actual mango tree! And it had just one mango left, hanging there like it was the last remnant of a fruit party gone wrong. Spoiler alert: it was completely unreachable. Thanks for nothing, nature!

Now, while the street itself might not win any beauty contests, the service, food, and drinks here are nothing short of excellent. It’s like finding a five-star restaurant in a discount aisle—everything is generous and incredibly affordable. I mean, who knew paradise could come with a price tag that doesn’t require a bank heist?

So, if you’re in Bali and want to enjoy delicious food under a mango tree that’s clearly having an identity crisis (seriously, just one mango?), make sure to check out this superb little cafĂ©. It’s the perfect spot for a meal, minus the anxiety of climbing trees! Five stars...

The general ambiance is pleasant and the service is friendly, if inconsistent. Live music was a nice touch, although the volume made conversation a little difficult.

The dragon fruit smoothie was right on, though the "Coco Cooler" contained so many ice cubes that there was no room for much else!

Avo bites were tasty, in large part due to our generous application of the garlic-pepper sauce that was provided for the table (delicious!).

We found both the pico de gallo and guacamole disappointing, especially for a place that seems so Mexican-inspired. The Mahi tacos were otherwise fine.

I'd say the highlight of the night was the burger; it was the only decent burger available anywhere in our multi-week stay, and I needed a fix!

Overall a good place to stop if you order well, and reasonably priced for a place that caters almost exclusively...

I've read the other reviews and was excited to eat here. I got the fish tacos and my girlfriend got fish dish that was described in the menu as their "best dish", we also got an order of fries to share. My tacos we're just ok, definitely nothing to write home about. My girlfriends dish was awful, the fish was the worst we had in Bali and had no flavor at all, other than fishy. The fries were so undercooked, they were cold in the middle. The waitress did take the fries off the bill. The only thing that ended up being eaten were the fish tacos. With all the great reviews I'm sure our experience was an anomaly. I'm not sure I would try them again because of all the other great restaurants we ate at nearby, but if I did I'm sure it would be a better experience...

We LOVED it here. The staff are a few friendly ladies that are so easy going, but also great at their job. The tacos here are amazing, try the grilled fish or pulled pork tacos.. Thank me later. Also their wine is 58k a glass and it's from Chile, so it's quote decent unlike balinese wine. They also have live music a couple nights a week and the band is really great, they take requests and their love for music really shows. It's open air, so if it's raining maybe not the greatest place. But I highly recommend it.

A bit underwhelming and over priced for not the best quality food. We ordered the chicken nachos which had two specs of shredded cheese on it and a tiny piece of chicken. Most of the chips had nothing on them. My jalapeño margarita was strong, I’ll give them that but not the easiest to drink. It was not very tasty. I had to wait for the ice to melt for it to become drinkable. The flys were ridiculous, they wouldn’t leave us alone. We also ordered a chicken burrito, not impressed. Quite Plain.
