I recently had the pleasure of staying at Losman Hotel in Legian, Bali, and it was an experience that I will cherish. From the moment I arrived, the exceptional staff made me feel welcomed and at home. Intan, the front desk manager, was particularly noteworthy; she was not only incredibly friendly but also adept at solving any issues that arose during my stay. The entire team was fantastic, always ready to assist with a smile.

One of the standout features of this hotel is the security. I felt safe walking around the premises at night, which is a significant plus for solo travelers or anyone who enjoys a late-night stroll.

The hotel's gardens are absolutely stunning, providing a beautiful, serene atmosphere to relax in. My room was clean, comfortable, and well-furnished, complete with effective air conditioning and a convenient en suite bathroom. I particularly appreciated the outdoor area that opened off my room, featuring a well-equipped kitchen, a dining area with a table and chairs, and lots of comfortable seating under an overhead fan—perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring.

The pool at Losman Hotel is yet another highlight. It was clean, sparkling, and private, a well-maintained oasis away from the bustle of the beach. The fact that it is adults-only added to the tranquil ambiance, making it an ideal spot to relax.

The location of the hotel is fantastic, with a wide array of cafes and shops just a short walk away, and the beach is easily accessible. This makes it incredibly convenient for anyone looking to explore the local area without having to travel far.

I've been travelling to Bali since 1979 & this place is fantastic. Its in a perfect location, close to restaurants, beach & shopping. It is a small boutique (very traditional)with lovely grounds. There are 2 types of accommodation, one & two bedroom appartments. There is so much to love about Puri Damai. Perfect for me because it has a kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, dinning area & sitting area all in your apartment. The appartments all have large open air eating/living areas that overlook a beautiful garden. There are 1 bedroom appartments upstairs & downstairs. I like the upstairs better, a little more private than the ones downstairs. It has a lovely clean pool with about 5 or 6 sun beds. The staff are fantastic & can't do enough for you. They don't supply water but you can order a large bottle of water to put on the water dispenser that is in the kitchen (cost is minimum to you) I love this idea as it cuts down on plastic water bottles. The two bedrooms are very large & have living areas downstairs & bedrooms/bathrooms upstairs.They don't serve breakfast but thats fine, as there are many places near by to try each morning or cook your own, if thats what you like to do. I will be back again this year, I've already booked as I love the peace, quiet & the whole feel of this...

Two couples stayed here in July/August. We booked a two bedroom apartment with two bedrooms and en suites upstairs, with a open air kitchen, lounge, dining and air conditioned tv room downstairs. The apartments were clean and very spacious, bathrooms modern although one had a shower over bath and the bath was quite high which made getting in and out with my bad hip a bit of a struggle. No breakfast is provided but there are ample cafes nearby. The staff were helpful although some had little English, but we managed, the gardener seems to have a good grasp of English and he was more than helpful. The pool was a good size, again with my hip the ladder was a 'tad' difficult but once in all good. I would recommend Puri Damai but if you have any leg/hip problems or problems with stairs then I would suggest the downstairs apartments as the stair in the two bedrooms were a bit hard to navigate. Having said that if your just after a one bedroom then the stairs to them were easy to use, it is the ones in the two bedrooms which were difficult.
