Chili ubud Cottage — Hotel in Pulau Bali

We booked the cottage for 5 days and I had to leave the cottage on 2nd day!!

A very warm greetings by the staff, vast area, and big cottage. So, we were amazed by first impression.

But more we settling down at home, we find the rooms are damped, AC is not working, or placed in such a way above an cupboard, that air will not even reach down. Few furniture are broken, for few, they won't close. I even found semen on the bed sheet, so not properly washed. The sofas are very very old and dirty.

The receptionists and other staffs tried their best to cover up with their amazing service, and they always have smile on their face. When we asked for refund, they even offered free breakfast.

The cottage has lot of potential, we chose because we loved their pictures. But the rooms need makeover. Without good room I am sure guests will soon leave early.

However, I feel bad because they are really good, helpful staffs and owner. I wish them best and hopefully they will improve the room...

A lovely greeting by staff. They were very welcoming and hospitable. Once our room was ready, on first impressions it looked lovely, however, once we had started to settle in and unpack, all you could smell was dampness. The walls were mouldy and damp in the air. We spoke with the front desk who then took us back to our room and all they had done was spray the room with freshener. They ended up changing our room to a lesser room without private pool and on arrival, again, all seemed well. Until the entrance door did not slide completely and got stuck and the safe did not open and they could not replace. Unfortunately for them, we chose to receive a refund as for our health we did not feel comfortable to stay, however, please not the staff cannot do enough to try and help in any way they can and we’re very pleasant and apologetic over...

Horrible experience. Room's AC was not working, bathtub was defective, intercom was not working. Reported multiple times yet didn't receive any resolution. Lost an entire day at ubud because of their carelessness. Later power also went off. Had to pack everything in the dark and leave the place. Little or no cooperation was shown by the owner or the hotel staff. So not like Bali. Would not recommend anyone visit here. Because it's not worth it.. you can get much cheaper options there with...
