Bar Pasticceria Rossi — Restaurant in Bellagio

My family and I visited this restaurant for breakfast and this was by far the WORST experience I have ever had in my life. The staff was rude and racist. I absolutely hated the service. Let me start from the beginning and tell you why this place was absolutely horrible!

We came early and got seated and got ready to order our food, the waiter came to our table to ask and we asked what we want. We always make sure to recheck to make sure we got the right stuff, the waiter was getting constantly annoyed for no absolute reason and almost raised her voice. She also lied about them not having anymore hot chocolate or plain crossaints when we saw BOTH of them rested on the register countertop about to be served to someone else. We also noticed how the staff was kind and friendly to white and Italian couples/families, since we were Asian we didn’t get the same friendly smile. Once our order came we asked for extra Nutella and the waiter rolled her eyes as she left, if she didn’t like her job then please don’t become a damn waiter! We ordered 3 omelettes and they only brought two. Once we asked the waiter where the third omelette was he responded with an ABSOLUTELY RUDE COMMENT saying “The waitress only has two hands!” Oh my god! Really? We didn’t know that! We were just kindly ask in and this was NOT the response. We were officially fuming and complained to the manager, who just responded “We’re busy now a days…” What excuse is that!? If your busy and under a lot of stress then suck it up and try to serve us! Instead of trying to fix the problem they came up with excuses. That wasn’t the last of it. After we complained the waiters managed to suck up SOME of their anger and stay quiet. After we paid we were heading out when the waiter yelled at us, “I NEED YOUR SIGNATURE!” And this was not in a frantic way, this was in a DIABOLICAL rude way. I mean, hello? You could’ve said that nicely? We left storming off and I definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND this cafe.

This was the worst experience of my life, and I know I wrote a lot. But this was the amount of crap they put on us and other customers too, do not go to this place unless you want to be...

Wish I could comment on the food, as we came to eat and have coffee based on other good reviews. But the bartender behind the counter berated me for trying to order food from him (God forbid), and then the waiter took it out on us by blatantly ignoring us, made eye contact with my wife and I numerous times as he took the order of tables directly around us while ignoring us. Can walk up the hill just a few minutes and find plenty of breakfast places with friendly service, which we did.

As you can see by the reply from the business below, the ownership did not address that we were intentionally ignored by the staff. And we did not attempt to “order before the other customers,” I was simply asking where/how we should order food, as in some other restaurants we have eaten at during our week in Italy, we have been told to bring our table number and order our food from the counter. And we love Italy, had a wonderful time in Bellagio, and would suggest that everyone takes the time to experience this beautiful part of the world. What a pathetic customer service, extremely rude arrogant n racist waiters , we waited to be seated for about 15 mins then manger came n get us situated, we asked for plain croissants n waitress while rolling her eyes said we ran out of it, my daughter asked for hot chocolate n she did the same thing with same statement of we ran out of it. I can see the shelf full of plain croissants from my seat so I sent my husband to go get it from front desk. Worst ever thing that happened was that upon asking for third omelette that we already ordered n waited for 20 mins the waiter said chef has two hands only , we have never ever had that poor experience ever. Seems like they were only rude to us with rest of non Asian customers they were very friendly.
