Hotel Antiche Terme — Hotel in Benevento

The room and bathroom were spacious, and the price was reasonable. Before our arrival, we contacted the hotel, and they kindly arranged a taxi from the train station. However, the room was not clean enough. Breakfast was very limited – only sweet items like cookies and croissants were served, with no bread or cheese. On the positive side, there was a coffee machine offering cappuccino and espresso, as well as water and packaged juices.||Although this place is labeled as a 3-star hotel, it feels more like a guesthouse. On our departure day, we were surprised to learn that the reception would close at 1 PM and they could not store our luggage, even for a few hours. One staff member even pretended not to understand us, despite clearly speaking English. We ended up taking our luggage with us and spending the afternoon elsewhere. Disappointing...

Abitualmente sono molto serio nel recensire qualsiasi attività commerciale. Perché so perfettamente quanto lavoro c'è dietro e soprattutto sono consapevole che dietro ci sono delle famiglie che vivono grazie a quel lavoro. Detto ciò vi dico che sono solo 2 gli aspetti positivi di questo albergo : 1)la posizione strategica per visitare il centro storico di Benevento 2)l'estrema gentilezza, cordialità, simpatia e professionalità dei gestori

Per il resto... Purtroppo ho vissuto un esperienza negativa. Partiamo dal colpo d'occhio esterno. Non sembra nella maniera più assoluta un albergo in funzione! Fuori sembra più un "cantiere" con lavori in corso. Il cortile antistante l'ingresso è tenuto malissimo! È veramente brutto a vedersi. E inoltre, sicuramente, un disabile ha delle grosse difficoltà a raggiungere l'ingresso (si giunge solo attraverso delle scale / salita in dissesto).

La camera sicuramente grande (anche troppo per un singolo) ma molto "vissuta". Il mobilio è estremamente vecchio, tenuto male. In terra della moquette mooolto polverosa! (per chi è allergico agli acari... Un suicidio). Il letto l'ho trovato parecchio scomodo (mi sono svegliato ogni volta con dei dolori muscolari). Passiamo al bagno..... Dire sporco è poco. Appena sono entrato avevo un urgenza ed ho usufruito del water... Capperi mi sono ritrovato circondato dalle formiche!! Si! Parecchie formiche in terra e intorno al water! Ho fatto presente subito la cosa. Invece di propormi un altra stanza hanno ucciso le formiche e spruzzato dello spray insetticida. Va beh.. Magari non avevano altre stanze a disposizione. Ma non è finita qui... Chiudo la porta del bagno e cosa vedo in terra?? 4 dita di polvere! Ma una quantità non normale! Ho rifatto subito presente la cosa. Il secondo giorno hanno pulito più a fondo scusandosi. (ripeto.. I gestori sono veramente gentili!). Passiamo alla colazione : secondo il mio punto di vista è molto misera. A parte l'ottimo caffè (credetemi, merita tanto) il resto era dozzinale e con pochissima scelta. Che peccato! Perché la saletta dove si svolge la colazione la mattina merita tantissimo! È praticamente su un terrazzino vista fiume. Dovrebbero rinnovare completamente la struttura, ed avere più un occhio di riguardo nella cura delle stanze e della colazione.
