Amazing views of the Duomo square from rooftop and your room! Not too many accommodations have this view. The location was great, right on the Main Street and close to beach. The church bell rings most hours, I was concerned it would go off during sleep hours but didn’t. However there is some street noise, nothing a pair of earplugs won’t block out. I got the single room, so it was quite small but still comfortable for one person. The bed was not very comfortable, i was feeling the spring of the mattress. The blackout shutters were great for sleeping. Room is dated. Breakfast was good with a variety of options. Communication with the property agent was easy. The only down side of this place is the many many stairs to get to the accommodation. I had a big suitcase so was unpleasant and a struggle to go up 6 flights of narrow stairs to get to my room.

The location is perfect—right in the heart of the historic center. There’s a beautiful view of the Cathedral, Rocca di Cefalù, and from the terrace, you can also see the sea. The interior is stylish, with a high painted ceiling, tiles, and a decorative balustrade. At the same time, mirrors, plants, and lighting give it a modern feel. The minibar and a nice Sicilian red wine were a lovely touch. The hotel manager was very kind and helpful, giving great recommendations for restaurants and attractions. The only small downside is the lack of parking since the hotel is in a limited-traffic area. But with such a great experience and attention to detail, parking isn’t a big issue. I had a wonderful stay and would love to come back. I highly recommend this place!

Awesome place! The terrace is magnificent, with a view on the cathedral and the sea (beautiful sunsets!), location is 10/10. The bed was good, I slept well on it, the room & bathroom were also nice. Breakfast was good! Good coffee, sweet and savory options (croissants, biscuits, jam, ham, eggs, etc.), and even fruits. Giuseppe was very kind and attentive, offered me to help me with my bags, was flexible regarding check-in, and generally made sure that I felt comfortable. Would definitely come back.

We booked a room from Saturday to Wednesday in the first week of March. When our taxi dropped us off about a quarter mile away from the hotel, Federico, the owner of the hotel met us and helped us carry our suitcases. This was entirely unplanned and foreshadowed how amazing our time in Cefalù would be in no short order due to Federico’s recommendations and the network of folks he knows in this small beach town. He is the epitome of “I know a guy”-ism in the greatest way imaginable. He gave us a list of ten restaurants to try and we went to one for each meal except one (and this was only because we wanted to try a new place for every meal and some restaurants are closed on certain days). Every single restaurant and cafe he recommended was incredible (this isn’t hyperbole, literally every single one) and offered a unique insight in to Sicilian cuisine. He helped us get reservations when we needed them and provided recommendations for our other non-food related activities. The hotel itself is well situated and anywhere within the town is easily walkable and it also has a lovely view of the duomo. The rooms are exactly what we wanted since we’d be spending most of our time exploring the area. It is also a great launching point to start the day since the Bar Duomo cafe is right next door where you can get a sweet and/or savory breakfast and coffee and a great spot for aperitivo or desserts whenever you want. I can’t stress enough how much Federico maximized our enjoyment of our trip. We will only stay at an establishment that he operates whenever we visit Cefalù...

Palazzo Villelmi is a palace you will fall in love with! I had planned to stay in Cefalù only one night, but the beauty of the palace, the kindness of the staff and the magical view to the Cathedral made me extend my stay and live an unforgettable experience! I felt at home from the first moment, when Federico, the hotel manager welcomed me with great kindness in the hotel and accompanied me to my beautiful room with the magnificent view. The rooms are very elegant, well furnished and very clean, from the window of your room you can admire the splendid Cathedral, as if you were admiring a work of art on the wall every day! At the top of the palace there is a lovely well furnished terrace with a panoramic view of the city and the sea, where you can admire the sunsets while sipping a glass of wine. Honestly, I could not miss any sunset from this beautiful terrace! The location of this hotel is perfect: you are in the heart of the historical center, in front of the Cathedral and only 3 minutes from the beach. Federico provided me with a list of excellent restaurants with delicious Sicilian cuisine, choosing them with care and attention. He helped me with the reservations and I had a fantastic experience in each one! In addition to that, he recommended the best places to visit and discover in Cefalù. Federico and Federica made sure I had everything I needed and I can't appreciate them enough for that! Can't wait to return to dreamy Cefalù and stay in this beautiful palace again!

Kind...
