After visiting the cloister of the Monreale Cathedral, I came to Cefalu with high expectations. Comparing to the other masterpieces of Norman-Arab architecture around Palermo, the cathedral of Cefalu takes advantage of the most spectacular scenery. The view of the cathedral is absolutely stunning so the visitors may expect the cloister to be the same. Well, it's not the case. Apparently, the time passed more aggressive in Cefalu. About half of the columns are missing, as well as the Chiostrino. The capitals are more faded and some of them are badly deteriorated.
