We loved our 3 nights at Orsini46. Gabriele and Manuela are amazing hosts with Gabriele giving us information on places to see in Naples, places to dine and helping us out with taxi bookings and even making a phone call for us when the websites were giving us conflicting information. Nothing was too much trouble. Manuela makes a wonderful breakfast every morning delivered to your room at requested time. 2 of us staying are not coffee or tea drinkers so we asked if hot chocolate was available and it was the most decadent amazing hot chocolate we have had in our entire life! The room was large and clean. The beds were really the most comfortable beds we have had during our 5 weeks travelling around Europe and the sea views in the morning from the balcony were wonderful. The apartment is easy to get to the train, shops and many good restaurants and we felt safe walking around even after dark. Highly recommended Orsini46 if you’re in Naples. We would stay here again if we are ever in Naples again. Grazie Gabriele...
Read moreExcellent stay at this B&B with our wonderfully warm and welcoming hosts - Gabrielle and his family. The rooms are spacious and clean, and also tidied every single day. Air-conditioning with both heating and cooling functions were available.
The breakfast was fully customisable and it was served to our room directly every morning at a timing of our choosing. We were pleasantly surprised with the immaculate attention to details and the care that was put into the preparation of the breakfast. The table setting, cutleries, crockeries and presentation of breakfast items were different each day, and there were little surprises (e.g. special bakes) prepared by the hosts every other day. Having such a spread in the comfort of our room with a view of the classic Italian neighborhood became a highlight of our trip.
The location was good as well - about 15 minutes walk from the Naples port, which can in turn be accessed from the airport via an...
Read moreLovely B&B near the port and sea front in Naples. We stayed one night as a stopover before heading to Ischia, but Gabriele, the B&B's proprietor gave us ample tips to enjoy the city during the time we had. The hotel is located on the 3rd floor of a grand old apartment block with a gorgeously vintage lift. (There are stairs up to the lift, so those with accessibility limitations should take note.) Our room was pretty compact, and the bed was unusually short (particularly for my very tall husband), but since we only stayed one night it was barely a problem. You can peek out to the sea from the balcony too. Breakfast is served in your room as there is no communal dining space, and it was quite romantic getting breakfast delivered to your bedroom! You can pre-order eggs/hot breakfast the night before, for a 4 EUR surcharge, but we forgot, so we had an Italian breakfast of sweet pastries and some fruit...
