Clean, neat, nice hotel in a great central location near the main bus and train station and the old historical neighbourhood. We wanted a centrally located base from which we could spend the time exploring everywhere (centro storico to vomero and Chiaia and everything in between to Pompeii and Vesuivius, Capri, Positano, Almafi Coast and Salerno) and thus was ideal. The rooms are not that large (we had a small balcony overlooking the little square), nor is the hotel, but considering we only slept there and had breakfast, and the bathroom was clean and nice and great shower pressure and HOT water - what more do you really need? || Breakfast was a typical continental european breakfast with meat, cheese, eggs, pastries, fruit, yogurt, cereal and a variety of hot and cold drinks. Thank you to the server Luanna! Perfect to get you going and out the door in the morning. One of the best and famous pizza places was just around the corner (with huge queues but was so worth it!) as was centro storico with loads of restaurants. As with any major city, areas around train and bus stations are scruffier and noisier but we knew that. For the price it was great! If you want something more posh there are more expensive hotels in other areas. Finally, there is 24 hr receptionist cover and they were really helpful! Thank you to Carmine especially with all our questions and also to Nuncio both for great service! ...
Read moreMe and 2 other people stayed here for a week. This is the worst place I have ever stayed 2 of the showers where covered in grime and mold, the TV's, WiFi and mini fridges did not work. One of the gentlemen was incredibly rude and did not seem to care how uncomfortable his guests were. We had booked for 4 people but had a person drop out as soon as we booked it but was offered no discount or refund. At the begining of the week I noticed it mentioned €3 tax per night so I asked the the man who was behind the desk at the time about it, he said we had already paid and not to worry but when it was time for us to leave and our taxi was waiting out front the 'rude' gentleman was working and told us we owed €75 for the tax. We did not have this on us as we had been told that we had already paid it. So we left and got onto the taxi. He chased us outside demanding we get out of the taxi and pay him or he would call the police on us so my mum went back into the hotel and got her money out to show him we only had enough on us to pay the taxi and a little extra, well he grabbed her money and shoved her out if the door locking it behind her. Luckily the driver stopped by ATM so i could pay him for the ride. But this man made us feel horrible all week he is so disrespectful. Would definatly not recommend this hell...
Read moreWe arrived at this Hotel after spending 5 nights at a 4 Star Hotel on Ischia. We Checked in on the 13th September 2019 . On arrival the Receptionist was extremely creepy and my wife said if she was on her own she would have found a different Hotel. We checked into our room 201 which was fairly small but had nice curtains and bed linen and the bed was comfortable and sheets were clean as were the towels. We had a small balcony which was quite nice to watch the madness of Naples life go by. The Bathroom well all around the sink and bath there was mould , the shower curtain was dirty and on the first time we did a poo the toilet blocked up , we had to ask several times for someone to sort it ( the Receptionist this time was a young guy who was trying to help despite his English was not good ) not his fault as our Italian is poor. There was no way we were going to have a shower despite the 30c temperature , we just washed in the basin as best we could. We had breakfast included , not worth it as it was very poor , hardly any selection for a so called 4 star Hotel. Sorry but we were so glad when our 2 nights were over.||||The only advantage to staying here was ease of bus to sights , and best of all the First pizza place to open in Naples was just round the corner , and the Pizza Margherita...
