We came here for our last night in Napoli because we had been craving sandwiches after days of pasta and pizza. Annalisa and her two sons didn’t disappoint. When we got there and said there were 4 of us, but not a 4 top table in sight, the boys immediately jumped into action, making a table for 4. We were greeted by everyone, even mama Annalisa who came out from behind the counter to say hello. They couldn’t have been more accommodating. They told us the sandwiches on the menu were only a suggestion and that we could look at the list of all of the ingredients they had in house to either modify a sandwich on the menu or make our own. We started with the antipasti platter which Annalisa brought out personally and it was huge! My nephew and I got the Workers Treat and added prosciutto and fresh buffalo mozz. My parents decided to both go with the ‘Surprise Me’ option, in which Annalisa made her own creation and it was also amazing.

Earlier today, my mom had been complaining of pain in her shoulder from a trip to Capri. Annalisa’s older son happened to notice her rubbing her shoulder and he came over to ask if she was alright. My mom asked if there was a farmacia open to get some pain meds, but the one across the street was closed. So Annalisa’s son, got on his Vespa, was gone about 15 minutes AND CAME BACK WITH PAIN MEDS FROM AN OPEN FARMACIA. We were blown away. This family is amazing, their service is amazing as is their food.

When Annalisa found out we were Italian, she gave us all little Italian horns for good luck. It’s no wonder that with 600+ reviews, they’re all 5 stars! Oh my goodness, I just had the most incredible experience at this little street food place in Napoli, Italy! Let me tell you, Luigi, the owner, is an absolute gem. Not only does he whip up the most amazing food, but he's also a one-man show. He sets up, cooks, and even handles the payment all by himself!

The food, oh my, the food! It was out of this world. Every bite was bursting with flavor and made with so much love and care. You can really taste Luigi's passion in every dish. It's clear that he takes immense pride in his culinary skills, and boy, does it show!
