I Decumani — Hotel in Naples

My husband and I stayed at 1 Decumani for ten days. We booked a pick-up, through 1 Decumani from Naples airport and Nazareno was there waiting for us at the designated pick up point. He immediately took our cases and showed us to his car. He drove directly to 1 Decumani giving us lots of information about the area, places to visit in Naples and where we would be having breakfast. Upon arrival, we walked across a courtyard in a very old building and used a lift which was positively ancient and wonderful which took us to the fifth floor. There we were met by Giorgi who made us feel right at home straight away. She went to great lengths to show us around, how to use the coffee machine, gave us a street map and highlighted the areas of Naples which were of interest to us. She also gave us a small decanter of Limoncello. What a welcome. ||This high level service continued throughout the holiday. Nothing was too much trouble for Giorgi and she continued to ensure that our stay was of the highest level. ||We had a family room, which had lots of space and was cleaned daily. The bed was amazingly comfortable and there was plenty of room to hang clothes and keep things tidied away. The bathroom had a shower and toiletries, including toilet rolls were included, along with clean towels every day. There was also a fridge and air conditioning. The view from the balcony was lovely. Mount Vesuvius and the Port, alongside churches could be seen. ||It was much nicer staying here than in a hotel. There were no people banging doors, talking loudly all hours of the night. No folks congregated outside the lift having loud conversations while you're trying to sleep, it was just magic. ||Breakfast was obtained from the local café just to the left of the apartments and you could choose which pastry you wanted and a drink which was delivered to your table in the gazebo outside the café. True European style, the cafe style of watching the world go by.||Duomo Metro was next to the café and was very convenient for getting around Naples. ||This was a really lovely holiday made extra special by Giorgi and her excellent hospitality, Eleana with her wonderful smiles and Nazareno, with his generous heart with his taxi service to and from the airport. collecting and returning us to Naples...

Very well located newly open facility. Great welcome from the staff. We found our room clean, spacious and bright after a long trip. What a reward and cherry on the cake a little surprise was waiting for us in the fridge (will no spoil it :-) The bathroom is super nice and big ! The breakfast is super innovative as you can take it from a local cafe downstairs however I would suggest to make clear what can be ordered and what cannot. Last, small improvement is required on the instruction to get from the street to the venue. It was a mess in the courtyard and...

Beautiful hotel. Fabulous modern, light rooms and very clean. Staff are fabulous. Very helpful and will go above and beyond to help you.|I would stay again and again.
