Sapori Tra Le Mani — Restaurant in Naples

As I tourist I'd had my fill of pizza and was looking for a place with more variety and more veggies. I happened upon Sapori and saw it abuzz with activity, so figured it was worth a try. It definitely was. Their entree and side dish bar had some wonderful selections that were not pizza, and with my limited Italian I ordered a sausage and mustard greens entree and a pasta side dish. Large portions, great taste. I sat inside in a pretty spartan seating area before I realized they had outside seating. No matter, the food was great. I even told the chef the mustard greens (if that's what they were) were like my Italian mother used to make. What better endorsement than that....

It was delicious! The prices are really good, cheap. Definitely worth it. You can taste tipical dishes from Naples from 5 euros. We ate one pasta (trofie), salsiccia con friarielli and merluzzo con insalata and shared a peroni 0,66cl and we paid 19 euros all together. The staff is very nice and helpful. Great experience. Great cheap meal. If you don’t speak Italian you might not get exactly what you ask for but what I had was very good. A Salmon Hamburger with vegetables. Most things come on one plate. So a very quick meal for busy people...
