I Cherubini — Restaurant in Noto

Relaxing but lively ambience on a side street steps away from the bustling central street outside the cathedral.

Table settings are elegant and the string lights over head are pretty.

We had the Roasted Fish which was seabass, tasted fresh and cooked perfectly, was a good portion size to share alongside Pasta Alla Norma. Which is great quality and tasted as I hoped/expected.

Parking is a nightmare since the small car park opposite is extremely busy. Also lots of the streets are one way or have confusing signs or you end up driving through the seemingly pedestrian street with balloon vendors etc

Restaurant music was a bit intermittent, I liked when they played the lounge tracks. Made it feel even more of a luxurious experience.

Most people had a reservation but we just walked in and got a table at 7:30pm before most...

This review is just about the service. We went for lunch at 12.05 after the restaurant opened. We were told the kitchen only opens at 12.30, so we said that was ok and we would just get drinks. Then the waiter said he couldn't make us drinks either as the bar tender came in the evening, we said that was also ok and we could just get soft drinks in bottles/cans but we wanted to look at the menu to choose which ones. At this point he refused to get us the menu and just kept telling us he couldn't make any drinks even though the couple nearby had a menu so we just ended up leaving. The food might be good but...

We had a fantastic first evening in Noto thanks to this gem. Not only was the food absolutely delicious and plenty, but the staff is super attentive and makes sure that your experience will be one to remember. The octopus salad is highly recommended, actually, everything in the pictures was fresh and home made.

If you want to have a lovely evening with authentic and delicious sicilian food, I highly encourage you to come here. Absolutely worth it.
